I think this movie highlights mental instability: getting lost in a feeling, and losing yourself way. Sadly, sometimes people spiral together. Seeing through troubled eyes. It’s not pretty, but it offers a perspective. I loved this song.

Incredibly good movie! Really makes you think beyond the box. Very entertaining! And the song is just ....WOW! It litterly touches something deep within, perhaps my soul? It's now on my list of one of my most favorite songs!

I concur...there are some deep metaphysical/esoteric layers to this film - I need to watch it a few more times to make fuller sense of all its meaning.

I really don't understand why this movie is getting such backlash from the critics and the audience, even though is not the best movie of all times, I've seen worst movies with higher reviews, however, I think the soundtrack is fantastic.
This is the movie that deserves a nomination, not cuties/mignonnes. Humanity is lost, instead of being smarter, the majority of us beings somehow became stupid.
I trip that they panned the movie= I absolutely Loved it and the performances were fantastic. I think people didn't understand that this was like a parable to meth addiction and psychosis from it. This song so fit the movie, awesome too.
Isn´t it interesting that Isabel suddenly appears while Greg stocks in that impasse? She seems like a lovely and bizarre angel helping Greg to find a way out of his dilemma. Suddenly there is hope and everything makes sense in a strange way. It reminds me of "Fight Club". Maybe Isabel is also part of an illusion. Maybe she only exists in Greg´s imagination caused by mental disorder. I like that idea. It adds depth to the story and a high degree of complexity.

In fact Greg wasn't prancing around hand in hand with Isabel. He got arrested after attacking several people inside the Disco. In this movie we can see what happens through Greg´s eyes. We can see what Greg sees. But we cannot see what really happens. In my opinion Greg is a traumatized sick man who suffered a mental breakdown and became a spree killer without knowing it. First Greg´s Boss was killed by an "accident" after Greg got fired?! ;) ( yes.. of course..) Then Greg attacked people at a disco. He attacked a man and stole his car. He slit a bar keeper's throat. He shot a "'drug dealer". And he killed several people in a van. (Don´t know how he did that). And in the end he tells Isabel that he really liked it. For him its a great adventure... running away from cops.. and so on... Greg is a very.. very sick man. :)

I would say it's a movie that doesn't work in some aspects, maybe the way its director decided to tell the story wasn't a good decision, it just changed my perspective on how I was told certain things (or behaviors) are, for a moment I put myself in the shoes of these characters (and the real human beings upon which they are based on), their struggling and their challenges, and I felt devastated to see how apathetic I might have been to them. But I agree with you, the soundtrack is very good, love Skye's voice.
