I watched this movie in the theater when it came out and I fell in love with this song and both this song and the movie has a special place in my heart.
The intrigue, intensity and passion in this track (and the poignancy in the coda) are certainly the work of M83, but the vocal work of Susanne Sundfør absolutely matches and extends all those qualities and brings some of the desperate, vivid power of the track up several notches.
