Hi April. You do such a great job on your blouse with the fabric that wendy bought for you. Where did you get your earrings? Very pretty great job agsin.
Extremely couture!!! Congratulations--this fabric is really hard to work with, and your asymmetrical design only adds to the challenge, which you aced! I am very impressed.
I actually like that only the arm and the tie is darker. Having the body also darker, it would have been too busy. VERY cool, great job! And oh this collab is FAB
The finished blouse reminds me of a “blue bottle” (these jellyfish-like critters that wash up on beaches) - Australians will understand! For real though, it’s so chic 😍 you did an amazing job!
Wow, I must say I was shocked at what this turned into. Seeing you speed through this it seemed like you were just throwing something together in a hurry for something to sew on a boring Sunday afternoon. It ended up being a very classy, stylish, trend setting piece of fashion that looks hyper expensive alongside those accessories.
I love how much more creative you seem whenever you do challenges with other people. I absolutely love both of your content for very different reasons but you two have the same wonderful passion for drafting and making original pieces of clothing and it inspiresbme a ton ❤️
The one and only glamorously unstoppable April!! The modelling shots gave me total project payoff satisfaction, I'm so grateful to have you as a friend
Ypu took me back to my budget days and fashion school days when i had creators block.. i didnt trust myself but at the end it worked out.. beautiful!!!
DAYUM! This looks incredible and super expensive! Just goes to show that any fabric can be made to look good if made into the correct garment. Fantastic eye!
Hey If you have a minute please watch my video where I recreate a shein top out of scratch ruclips.net/video/8PPFz5e0p2s/видео.html Thanks in advance, have a great day
Gorgeous high end garment. I think going without the lining was a bold, imaginative choice that, in this case, heightens the design. Your styling is perfect. Amazing work.
I loved the fact that you used $1 fabric. When I was raising three daughters, I enjoyed challenging myself. Great show! Please show us more fabric you had to choose from.
April, you’re really talented! Hope you’ll have a boutique and sell those transformations. Very Unique, the one who’ll buy it will be sure that she’ll wear one of a kind piece!
You and Wendy are both brilliant!! I love the creations that you made! Both are gorgeous! You should do another challenge. Maybe use bedspreads or sheets or curtains. Something thrifted maybe...
When I first saw the fabric I thought it looked cheap - pretty, but not very stylish. But then I saw the blouse on and was shocked. You did an amazing job!
April it's perfect! You aced the challenge --i watched Wendy's challenge first it was a nice dress she made-- then I rushed over to see what fabric you got-- the fabric was beautiful and did it justice--Great challenge
i am a quilter....i do not sew clothing at all....i have tried. we will leave it at that. lol. you are amazing and extremely talented.....i love this top!!!! i love watching your videos.......so interesting will keep watching!
This was amazing, turned out so chic and serious project runway status. I hated the fabric when I saw it out of the bag and as soon as you started draping I fell in love with the idea of a looser caftan style silhouette. What you made is perfect! I love your channel because you have a technical construction education. I've only taken one college apparel sewing class and a couple weeks of pattern drafting but anyone with a more technical sewing education could follow along with this. I really appreciate the elevated proper techniques used here.
Both fashions are beautiful. I enjoyed watching both of you sew. I just subscribed to Wendy's channel. I have an over a 100 year old singer treadle type that I use. I love seeing what you will make next.
Super cute, great work I always walk by that $1 fabric on the same street thinking what magic can be made? Thanks for answering that question. If this $1 fabric challenge is not already a series it totally should be.
Just finished watching madewithwendy and I enjoyed it .. Same thing with your video...I don't use a sewing machine I free hand sew.. thanks for sharing Ladies
VERY Pretty & the tie is a great design for variety. I would have liked to have the sleeves more narrow, longer & fitted at the wrist. I liked your future suggestion about bringing up the ombré color higher up in the blouse. Great job!
I have to say that it's one of the best things you've made. In the right moment I saw the finish look I loved it. Absolutely stunning! You're a genius!
I am trapped visiting family for a couple of weeks, and I cannot wait to get home and introduce my friend to the same challenge....what a fun way to sew! Watching both of you right now! Enjoying it so much I subscribed! You really do need a new blade...lol! Beautiful finished garment!!
I'm so glad I found your video because I've been struggling with the fit of my organza top and the one you made here looks so stunning! The steps you followed are really clear and it's all the help I needed❤❤ thank you!!
Make sure to head over to Wendy’s channel to see what she made! ALSO unofficial THANK YOU for 2,000,000 subscribers ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Subscribed 🥰
I’m a fan since 2017 from 🇵🇭 I remember the first video that I watched was the curtain and turned out into amazing dress. From then I got inspired.
Hi April. You do such a great job on your blouse with the fabric that wendy bought for you. Where did you get your earrings? Very pretty great job agsin.
You both have amazing channels, always enjoy y'alls makes :)
Wendy sent me. subscribed 🇨🇦
The blouse really does look expensive. Especially the way she styled it. She looks like she came straight out of “Crazy Rich Asians”
Donnie P. Lol YASS that’s the vibe 😎
Yess thats what I thought!!!
lol you speak my mind
Yes she does
Totally ❤❤❤
April being an extra in "Crazy Rich Asians" 🤑 And that's made of a $1 fabric, wow.
Absolutely!
That's the same thought I had at the reveal. The expensive looking sunglasses and earrings just scream Crazy Rich Asians at brunch.
I think I need to find the $1 piece of fabric place here in Seattle!
are you kidding me?! this is amazing. you're so talented
Maryam Hussain thank you!!
You look very Parisian to me. I love the ombre and asymetrical sleeves.
Ashleigh Sanders agreed! 😍
Extremely couture!!! Congratulations--this fabric is really hard to work with, and your asymmetrical design only adds to the challenge, which you aced! I am very impressed.
Karen Stimson aww thank you!!!!

The collab we've been waiting for!!!!
Hallie Harmon yassss 😘
Still funny that the “French seam” is called “English seam” in The Netherlands where I live
That color looks beautiful with your skin tone. I would have had no idea what to do with that fabric lol. It's fantastic! Good job!
Beth Ann it was so hard!! I’m just happy I finished and didn’t give up haha
That two different sleeve lengths and the collar detail made this piece special.
I love how much more creative you seem whenever you do challenges with other people. I absolutely love both of your content for very different reasons but you two have the same wonderful passion for drafting and making original pieces of clothing and it inspiresbme a ton ❤️

Wowzers! That's talent. The fabric is gorgeous, but the design makes it a piece of art. Great job!

It is freaking UNREAL how amazing this top turned out. The concept was so interesting and the final product was just stunning 😍
Gorgeous high end garment. I think going without the lining was a bold, imaginative choice that, in this case, heightens the design. Your styling is perfect. Amazing work.
I love the results of the challenge with Wendy. You both created gold. The blouse, wow. The upscale tucked in look, perfection. New subscriber.
Super cute! Love it. I loved how you draped it and showed how you got the big puffy sleeves. Learned so much just watching it.
I love how your top turned out. It's absolutely beautiful. Well done and much love to you two.
I bought a transparent fabric that is super pretty and didn't know what to create without a lining but now you just made me want to use it!!!
the blouse you made is really fancy and looks really nice with the white pants and gold earrings
I loved the fact that you used $1 fabric. When I was raising three daughters, I enjoyed challenging myself. Great show! Please show us more fabric you had to choose from.

Love this challenge! You guys need to do this again.
