The arcade machine for it was extremely rare. It did so poorly that it was the final game they put out before the recent game in 2020. The arcade game was supposed to be ported to the Game Boy but since it did so bad in arcades, they didn't bother. Such a shame.
I played this years ago on Rare Replay with a fam - it was absolutely awesome. No other arcade(-like) was able to give me the same level of thrill nor satisfaction that this one gave.
Sadly the battletoads were always infused with that 90s TMNT 'tude that sadly has died out in recent years in favor of one of two things, "lol randem" or "muh feelins"

It's 2021, and i grew up with Battletoads... how I missed this, is BEYOND ME.
