The Magician in House of the Dead 1 was seriously the hardest boss I ever fought in a video game !! it's just a moment of despair and terror when you face him - especially the first time - and the game tells you that the weak-spots are UNKNOWN and hes throwing fire balls in your face and charging from everywhere it took me so many endeavors until I finally bet him.
And in House of the dead 2, You DO get weakpoints. I love to think that after rogan and G defeated him, They wrote where his weakpoints are incase he ever came back again.

such a foreboding intro... Played the hell out of this game... I practically mastered it. I'll never forget the feeling I had when I played through this with 1 credit for the first time... bunch of people noticed me from start to finish and started cheering me on. I even got the best ending. Such a cool feeling. Been a long time since I played it again. I can't find it anywhere. But when I do, I'll see if I haven't gotten too rusty, and try to do it again.
As a kid playing the original House of the Dead was so much fun and I loved beating the Magician everytime and hearing that awesome boss theme but when I played House of the Dead 2 I legit got scared when Magician came back I legit thought he came into the second game because of how many times I beat him.

Got nightmares for a month playing this game when i was 6yo, immediatly went back to playing as soon as they stopped.
