    As someone who works at a plant that mass produces frozen desserts. The reason for those sauces turned upside down, is that it prevents ice from forming on the top of the product. No consumer wants to open something up that was produced a couple months ago and see ice like it's something that was forgotten for 3 years in the back of the freezer 😂

      I've really had nothing but good experiences with my air fryer. Its excellent, and convenient. Food cooks quickly, and crispy. I've even made chicken Parmesan from scratch with raw chicken in mine and it turned out excellent. Products like this one here I would never even consider microwaving anymore, I would only ever air fry it. I find its at it's best for basically any frozen quick meal type item. Tater tots, fish sticks, pizza rolls, french fries, you name it. Most of these instant frozen meals Larry has tested also turn out substantially better in the air fryer. Farm Rich products and Inovasion products are my 2 go to frozen dinner brands, and I always make them in there.

    • @MoronicChunk1
      @MoronicChunk1 3 года назад +1

      @@monkas7270 i bought a cheapy one for my parents as a Christmas present a few years back. At the time i was worried it was a gimmicky unitasker kitchen appliance so i didnt want to go all out on a fancy one in case we ended up not using it. Thats the only regret I have with my air fryer, just that I wish I had got our family a better one. Our current one works perfectly fine but its basket size is on the small side and it doesnt have a digital display. Im sorry I dont know the brand off the top of my head but with a bit of research you could probably find a much nicer one for a reasonable price. Like I said though features to look for are the digital display and a good basket size. My family makes lots of frozen entrees as sides for whatever main meal were having and thats when it gets the most use for us. If you eat things like chicken tenders, fish sticks, pizza rolls, french fries or any other frozen entree of the like I highly recommend it. One of its main huge advantages is you can pull the basket out at any time while its cooking to check the food. Allowing you to accuratley cook it to the exact level you like it. You do need to patience to let certain things cook a bit longer tho if you want that golden brown crispy crust.

    When I lived in Western NY for several years, I fell in love with their pizza logs. Unfortunately after I moved to TN to start college, I wasn't able to get my hands on any until Farmrich had their 12-count boxes of pizza roll-ups. They weren't the same but they were the closest I'd get and I enjoyed them. I hated that they shoved them off to these 3-piece boxes. I was glad to find the pizza roll ups at Walmart on sale for just $1.00 a box a couple of months back.

    I don't think the chicken fritters were made from highly processed meat. The ingredients for them simply listed white meat chicken, water, wheat flour and corn starch. The extensive breading breakdown appeared to be things they'd add to the coating to aid in crispification, seasoning, and some preservatives to increase shelf life. Not really too unusual for a frozen product.
    Preserving foods is kind of a nasty business. Everyone wants things to be crispier, tastier, better textured, to cook evenly, etc. Unfortunately, canning, freezing, and dehydrating food ultimately takes away from what the food would have been in it's natural state. Meat proteins and plant cells break down, microwaves need water retention in the food to create an effective heating effect, and canning cooks food into mush. So these companies play this frankenfood game to try and find things they can put into the food to create a more favorable product once it's been "cooked" or "reheated".
    Watching your videos is a guilty pleasure, but I often find myself lamenting the loss of wholesome delicious food potential that is ultimately wasted when company's turn what was once delicious food into an impending case of explosive diarrhea at best, and a lethal heart attack at worst.

    I haven't seen any of these videos in years but I literally just checked to see if you were still alive making videos eating all this stuff.

    Hey Wolfpit family. I just had a Red Baron Pepperoni Pizza Melt last night. Thought it tasted ok but was not very filling and for a dollar more to get their pizza seems like a better idea. I ate it in the microwave. Any thoughts on said product? I think I paid 2-3 bucks for it.

    I tried the pizza ones before. I didn't really feel I got anything nice. The gas station down from my place has pizza rollups hot and ready for a lower price and they taste better.
