  • I hope you enjoy these easy cheese-free keto chaffles, carnivore waffles, also known as pork rind paffles. This is a must have diet staple in my keto-carnivore WOE (way of eating). They are so easy and versatile, great for sandwiches, burgers, tuna melts, breakfast sandwich on the go, or even with a little sugar free syrup like a traditional waffle! Best of all, they are carb free and guilt-free with NO cheese, so then you can cheese up your sandwiches and burgers and not feel guilty! 😉😁😄

    Recipe: Yield 2
    1 T Melted Butter
1 Heaping T Pork Panko (crushed pork rinds)
    1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder (omit if making to eat with syrup)
    1/8 tsp pink sea salt
    1 Egg
    1 tsp water (if needed)
Melt butter in microwave then add all ingredients (except water). If batter seems to thick then add just a splash of water. This will make 2 paffles. I typically cook for 2-3 minutes until the waffle maker is no longer steaming. Let cool and then eat. I have also batch cooked these and store in either fridge or freezer in a ziploc and then pop in toaster before eating if you want it a little more crispy. I like to keep some on hand in case I am running errands and decide to grab a plain burger at the drive-thru, then I can put the burger on my paffle bun when I get home and add whatever toppings desired!
    🤍🤍🤍

I like chaffles and paffles because when you make a sandwich with them, the indentations make room for the condiments so they don't drip out. YUM!!

I alter your recipe just a tad and it seems to work out well for me. Sometimes I substitute bacon grease or bacon mayo for butter, omit onion powder, and substitute 1/8 tsp baking soda for the 1/2 tsp baking powder (to avoid the constarch), and for added flavor as others have mentioned, mix in some BBQ pork rind crumbs or can do all for stronger flavor. This works best for me, as these are ingredients I always have on hand, where I don't typically keep mozzarella cheese, almond flour, baking powder, etc. that most "chaffle" recipes call for on hand. Thanks!

Girl! You may have just saved me! I recently did 40 days carnivore. So weak from the electrolytes washing out. Felt better off carbs, but weak from carnivore problems. Just cannot consume enough protein from meat. Barely got 29-40 protein grams/day. Electrolyte replacement ran my blood pressure up and I refuse to go back on blood pressure meds to be carnivore. This might save me!

Ohhh I’m so sorry dear! I think each person is different and you have to find the balance of what works best for your body and your health goals. I had to stop carnivore/ketovore due to cholesterol and blood pressure. It’s taken me two years to get my labs normal (without meds which I refused). I try to keep everything natural now but eating unsaturated fats like avocado, olive oil, lean chicken, etc. I’m wishing you all the best on your health journey dear! 💛🤗👍

I watched this because i'm curious what a carnivore lunch would be like. Then you added the tomato and lettuce, lol. Why not just put the cheese in the chaffle? I don't get it.

I just offer recipe ideas and inspiration I am not 100% carnivore nor am I promoting one way or another. I am living a keto/carnivore lifestyle. I have lost 50 lbs and I'm working on dropping another 30 more. Right now I am doing OMAD and ADF. Every one's body is different and it's important to determine what works best for you! I wish you good luck on your journey! ✌

@@BethsHome So when you say keto/carnivore is that like keto but with more animal protein than regular keto? Ted Naiman is saying he thinks more protein is better, but he likes to go lower on the fat, and also he's more into being ripped than simply trying to get to a normal weight. I think you're right when you say what you're doing is working for you, and I know some people don't even count macros. If ain't broke don't fix it, right? So far I'm not really keto yet and looking for the easiest way; I guess that's what they call lazy keto, lol. Have you tried regular carnivore? Just curious.

@@dreamingrightnow1174 So if you're looking for muscles and all that stuff, I would look up people who specialize in that like Sean Baker and some other hard core carnivores. Instagram is a great resource for that. I have been full carnivore but I prefer to eat a few veggies occasionally like peppers, onions, mushrooms and I like alternative sweet treats on occasion so that makes me technically Keto. I am not the traditional keto where it's huge salads, I don't think that's healthy and in doing my research, i truly think an overload of veggies can be very damaging to our bodies due to the anti-nutrients and the oxylates. For oils, I use Avocado oil and olive oil. Otherwise I use butter, bacon grease or lard. As I woman, with our body makeup a 2:1 fat/protein ratio works better for me to keep on regular cycles. Typically I eat burgers on paffle buns or tuna melts, steak & salmon, shrimp, a lot of omelettes and bacon. I drink two fat coffees in the morning where I froth an egg yolk and a pat of butter in my coffee with some skinny syrup for a hint of sweet. It's good to do research and the experiment and find what works best for you. Good luck on your journey! 😊👍

Sounds good but there are carbs in baking powder and onion powder, not just the egg so it can’t be called “zero carb”

With the Onion powder and baking powder it is no longer carnivore, more like ketovore.
