This is one of my favorite microwave meals because it's cheap and it tastes really good. When it's done cooking I always add a little bit of garlic powder, basil, and crushed red pepper flakes. It comes out amazing.

When you go to a pot luck and see the crock pot with the miniature hot dogs in it, 9 out of 10 times that's how it was made. You mix a bottle of chili sauce with a jar of grape jelly, add the hot dogs and heat in the crock pot. If you like hot food, substitute jalapeno jelly for the grape jelly.
I think that actually that is what people do with Little Smokies not meatballs? Or in my world we use little smokies with grape jelly and sauce
Jelly and hot sriracha make a great combo in some dishes. It's basically how you can make some inauthentic Asian dishes in a pinch.

@@williamharris8367 It's always worth it to pay that little bit more for named meat. You wouldn't be happier if this ingredients list just said 'meat'.
Comparing the ingredients on this to most cheap frozen meals, this actually looks pretty good.

Of all the microwavable meals i've eaten, the banquet mega bowls are by far my favorite. I don't prefer some of them but I haven't hated any of them.
They're definitely good.

These have been around for a while. I eat them from time-to-time, and they have a fair amount of spiciness. Not enough cheese, so I sprinkle a little parmesan on top.
You've helped me on my microwave meals, I miss the home made meals

I think they've turned TVP into art. I had something recently with TVP as the second ingredient in the NY Strip Shape beef patty, and it wasn't horrible.

Eating something like this on occasion would be okay. It sure comes in handy. I have learned to do a combo cooking method on these frozen meals. Part microwave, finish in the oven.

Once again , Larry is spot on! After the microwave, a shake or two of Kraft Parmesan, salt, pepper , and Italian seasoning... it was one of the best meals I’ve had... especially for $2.18!! Oh BTW, mine had 10 meatballs. I would go 9/10
Most of these Banquet Mega Meals and Bowls are a game changer. Does the trick and gives you protein and calories you need for not alot of money.

I had one of these recently and although I have high blood pressure all the sweating I do at work drained my sodium levels and I didn't get a bump in BP afterward.
Also it was damned tasty.

This is my favorite banquet meal! I love to toast up some garlic bread with it or just use hotdog buns to make a meatball sub...hell sometimes I will sprinkle on some mozzarella on it.

Sure, that sounds great. But I would go with the "cheap and processed" theme, the infamous American cheese.
Tried this last week. Wasnt bad.Oven direction is the best route. Couldnt finish the rest so i ate the rest next day. If u pan fry the leftovers alittle and toss some mozarella over its actually really good.

I am enjoying these MEGA BOWLS and on this one I add A good helping of Parmesan cheese to It and It helps with the texture. Can't wait till you review the Banquet Mega Bowls Buffalo-Style Chicken Mac N Cheese. It's my favorite of all of these bowls. Nice review man keep It going.
I love the old fasion kind of food review
I always avoided microwaved pasta for obvious reasons (squishy reheated crap), but I tried this because I am a fan of meatballs. This was a surprise winner because it is a very generous portion and the sauce is tasy and actually has a mild kick to it. Much more tasty than any microwaved pasta deserves to be. I usually pick up at least one of these when I go to the store for a quick meal as needed.

Ha-cha-cha an 8 out 10 AND you would get it again. I definitely might pick it up now if I see it anytime soon.

Excellent video review, as always. Package weight is of prime importance in a food processing factory. Regarding the number of meatballs, it is obvious the pasta was added to the bowl before the meat balls. Perhaps a little bit too much pasta came down the chute, or the meatballs are not exactly uniform in weight or size. You may want to consider weighing the container(s) before cooking.
I’ll never forget the couple in their pajamas at Wal-Mart getting 2 of these along with 2 Redbulls. I laughed it up but still felt bad for the situation they’re likely in.

working at a well known store with "dollar" in the title, I end up looking the the frozen section for a cheap, easy lunch, and I've done this one a few times now.
for the price, the food tastes great! I like these meatballs so much, I wish I knew if banquet sold just meatballs, no sauce, frozen in like 2 pound bags, to do something with. Because this is actually a damn tasty meal.... though the saturated fat levels are telling me I shouldn't be eating it often.
