Yealink t56 or t58 Factory Reset and upgrade from Skype to SIP

If you have a yealink t56 or t58 phone that is on Skype or Microsoft teams and has a password on it I show you how to factory reset the phone, get the SIP license file and convert it to a SIP compliant phone.

Thanks for this video! I recently purchased a few T48G's off of eBay and needed to convert them to SIP firmware. Yealink has this pretty streamlined on their website licensing section now if you do need the license file.

The Yealink licensing portion of its website is geofenced at work, so I used a non-work Internet connection to fill out the required information and download the SIP license file.

Hi Keith. Excellent video, in fact the only video out there on RUclips for this. I have one problem. They have removed the firmware from Yealink support website. Does anyone know were I can get a copy from for my T58-A phone?

Actually, I did find the instructions. It was just a matter of holding down the redial put for 5s.
