Was shown your channel through looking up how to cut down on rabbit feed costs, and now im going through and watching all your other videos.
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and even though ,no one is perfect or a know it all, you've got your first hand experience that your willing to tell others. Which is better than not talking about it at all.
Hopefully working toward my own homestead as well rn its just a dream and nine 3ftx6ft garden beds.
I used to live in a 21 ft camper with my partner before we figured out a deal on this rental property so even having a small yard is already more than i had to work with before.
Again thanks for sharing your slice of life really giving me and others hope that we can make it too.

Thank you for sharing! I'm also in NW MT in the Kootenai. Dreaming of acreage in the future, but starting in our backyard for now 😊.

That is so awesome that you’ve been able to live small too. My wife and I went from a 5000 square-foot house in the to a 1 room in the country. Eventually, we built our permanent house, and now Brent, the cabin, using VRBO.

Pretty cool that you are connected to the national forest. We've thought about moving to North Idaho, but we're dragging our feet because of all the snow you guys get! How exciting for you to get back to your passion. ❤

I commismerate with the north side of a mountain, but I think I have it easier than you. Then sun comes to within one thumbs width of clearance over our tallest peak, for about 2 weeks between christmas and new years. But as we're in northern Calif. It gets plenty of hot sunshine the rest of the year. Im going to check out your rabbit hutch ideas, and see if we can use it for ideas. We had a bobcat take out 3 of our roosters over the winter. We trapped him, f&g said we had to let him go on our property, as it is his home range. We hazed him pretty good, so I dont think he'll come near again.

Multi generational homstead is the way to do it. Housing prices are insane and will likely stay that way. #smartmama ❤

If you do the Airbnb , Please realize that you will likely need a new policy for the cabin that is being rented. We needed to have this when we added a cabin to our Homestead at least consider it.

      Thank you so much!
How crazy is the insurance for the rental? I plan on talking to my agent this year about it but would love to know if it’s going to be big increase or not. If it can’t pay for itself I’ll skip that idea altogether haha.
I visited the Shenandoah mountains several times, you’re in a beautiful area.

We are in the process of doing a rental cabin and a couple RV spots on our lake property in northern Mn. I think it’s a great idea, I was told to do a LLC for liability reasons??
