There’s not a need to remove the glass to remove a door handle. With the window up, you can unbolt the one bolt holding that side of the window track in, and move it to the side and stick an extension through the hole they put in the for doing exactly that
Don’t stop the vids there to informative please cause I have a 1994 Ford F-150 just like yours only a short bed! Keep them coming!
Great video Jon. I've been needing to get my handles off for paint. I think I know what I will be doing this coming weekend 😂😂. Thanks for the help. I can't wait to see that thing primed for paint. Looking good Jon. Thanks again!!
Just viewed your Friday night and this video, just now. Was away in Virginia for a few days. Weather there was about the same here. A punch in the face with the humidity. And then back to the highest taxed state, the screw me state, NY. Didn’t Dorothy saw that “there’s no place like home”.... I got news for her, Virginia looked pretty darn nice to me.
Anyhow, the best part of the Friday night video was the chicken wings. I’m famished now and that didn’t help my cause looking at them when you opened up the door and the smoke escaped, I inhaled like I could smell them. Sometimes, I’m just not with the program.
Not surprised by the tailgate needing lots of attention. Bottom of the tailgate is notorious for issues. And if you try to close it while the torsion rod not connected, that is one heavy enchilada to lift. I needed help taking mine off. Good thing my wife was around. Problem with that is she doesn’t let me forget I needed her help. She has this irritating of reminding me how I needed her. Like a dog with a bone... won’t let go.
When I hear you state about the time it’s taking to get this ready for primer, and I said it before, you are better to step back, don’t get burned out, and just finish up the small things first. Go to Oregon and the come come back and you’ll probably feel a whole lot better. Be in a good frame of mind to get to the primer and paint.
Painting same color is one thing but changing color is another. And things like door handles need to be removed.
That’s my two cents worth anyway.
Enjoying all your videos. Looking forward to “Oregon and Iowa” boys videos. Glad to hear Jessie and pups are good. We lost a pup last Saturday suddenly.
Stay cool, stay safe!
Awesome comment as usual lol!
i love your bumper
Jon , looking forward to those videos with the boys. Gonna. Be fun for sure! We had some strong storms roll through Muskegon and we'll other areas.today. heavy winds and rain ,thunder. Some trees down and power outages .. kinda like the big storms though! Getting ready to flush the coolant system on my 96 . I've got all new hose's and clamps so the cooling system should be set....I hope😁
If you break the yellow plastic piece do you know where to order it without getting a whole new handle?
mr. foxshop is a confirmed cutie
Ok I know I’m getting ahead of everything but any idea what the next project might be?
Maybe 😂
Second
First!!!!
Sooo...... you don't use a sledgehammer??
Umm.... That would probably work... Might cause a little additional work though LOL
@@TheFoxShop just a thought 🤠
You dropped a washer on the stud of the door handle
And I picked it up lol
Was the little rubber gasket piece that goes between the handle and door
Just get to the point. Headline says door handles. So just spare us the commentary and get to it.
Well my friend... that's how I make videos... can't please everyone. I get what you are saying though. A lot of the regular viewers like the extra stuff, but I get it, if looking for something specific and just want the answer. No worries friend... it's just how i usually do my videos. You do realize this is a 5 year old video? Thanks for the comment and suggestion though. Hope you have a good day! 👍
