Idk somehow suganda's white lotus moisturizer worked for me in the beginning but then it started breaking me out (fungal acne) idk what went wrong
@@saptamymorey2107 then you may change it. Use any of the moisturisers mentioned by Samapti. I have heard that Cetaphil is also good though I have never tried it.
As someone who has suffered from fungal acne for years here are some things that I have learnt. First of all do not use any kind of oil in your skin care. Not even natural oils like rosehip, hemp, avocado oil etc. The only oils that can be used are mineral oil and squalane. My suggestion is to use squalane as an occlusive. Nothing else! Please make sure no oil or fats in your skincare. Malassezia feeds on oil to proliferate. And it will aggravate your fungal acne like crazy. Always Google all the ingredients in your skincare and make sure they are fungal acne safe. Almost all skincare is not fungal acne safe. So we have to be extra careful and find the ones that are safe. Right now for my skincare I have kept it quite basic. I use Cosrx low pH facewash followed by 2% salicylic acid by Sugandha. Then for moisturizing I use Cosrx snail 96 essence followed by Sugandha white lotus moisturizer. This works great for me. If it is too severe then you can also use ketoconazole shampoo on the affected area for a few minutes and then wash it off. I really hope this helps someone 😭 because I know how hard it is to deal with fungal acne and how it has ruined my skin because I was always treating it like normal bacterial acne. Please do not forget!! No oils!!!!

I myself have suffered from fungal acne and still suffering from it. Malassezia is a yeast that naturally lives in our skin but when it overgrows it can lead to Malassezia folliculities aka fungal acne. I'm sorry to point out 😬🙄 but some of the products you mentioned have some fungal acne triggers which can exacerbate the problem further. Some people say that there's no such evidence that specifically products can cause fungal acne and some say it does cause the issue, in my case it did caused issues. Few of the points to keep in mind are:-
* Never use oils except squalane if you have FA.
* Always consider checking ingredients list of products to check whether it's fungal acne safe or not.
* Seek professional advice if nothing works don't experiment with your skin!
* Fungal acne can occur again and people who already had it in the past can be more susceptible to it in the comingfuture, so be careful!
* Use active ingredients like ketoconazole, Sulphur, salicylic acid to treat it but with caution as these products can be strong and also if the malassezia is deep within the hair follicles these may even not work so in that case you've gotta visit a dermatologist.
There are many such points to be considered but again everything works differently for others and everyone's skin is different so "do your research everyone". 😇

For toner, I don't think it's that necessary, but if u want one u can try etude house soonjung toner or klairs supple preparation unscented toner. These are recommended by Samapti.

Hi Samapti, I have been using all the basic products you mentioned- costs morning gel cleanser, suganda white lotus moisturizer, cipla excela moisturizer, niamex d gel, and cosrx honey sleeping mask. But, I have developed something that now i understand is fungal acne. What should I do?
Copy and paste the ingredients list in skincarisma website ( analyse ingredients) it will tell whether the product is fungal acne safe or not
And complety avoid the products with oils in it....cleanse your face twice and follow it by a simple oil free moisturizer

Hi I've followed all your videos . I tried oil cleasing technique of yours but it didn't suit me. I don't know if that is the reasong I got severe fungal acne . Then I gathered knowledge from your other videos and tried glycolic acid+ salicylic acid based face wash and niamax d gel and sunscreen. it took me 3- 4 weeks but it has worked. Thank you so much. Extracts can be tricky in live on products but we use face masks for maximum 30 minutes and that’s even twice or thrice in a week. So I don’t think we need to worry much there 🙋🏻♀️🌻

I used to suffer from fungal acne before I came across Samapti's channel. With her recommendation, I cut all the fragrance, essential oil based products from my skincare, started using fermented rice water twice a day, changed my facewash from Mamaearth tea tree 🎄 to Cosrx gel cleanser (works better, being extremely oily skinned type), Simple refreshing face wash and Bioderma micellar water.
I switched my serums from Mamaearth skin illuminate vit c and skin correct face serum to klairs Vitamin C (6 days a week) and Revolution Niacinamide (once a week).
I didn't use any moisturizer or sunscreen thoroughut my life, so I had little dark spots on my face. So, I bought almost all her recommended moisturizers, out of which Cosrx honey sleeping mask and innisfree Aloe Sleeping mask worked best for me. I also use snail 🐌 mucin essence sometimes.
To make it more clear, here's my night 🌃 care routine.....I wash my face with Cosrx good morning gel cleanser, drinking water, then I give the final rinse with rice water (works as a toner since it controls my sebum production throughout the day). Then I use cosrx snail 🐌 mucin essence while my face is slightly wet, let it get absorbed for a minute or two, then I use klairs Vitamin C drop and finally, innisfree aloe sleeping Mask.
For eye area, rosehip face oil has worked great for me, which I use 3 times a week and rest of the day, I use Indulgeo under eye serum and that has really helped in darkening and growth of my lashes and brows.
For day time, I use just a moisturizer (cosrx honey 🍯 mask) and for sunscreen, I bought rovectin aqua soothing, but that has oils, so I usually avoid it, well, I usually stay at home 🏡, so didn't feel its need for now, but still looking for a suitable sunscreen for oily, acne prone, sensitive skin.
And my skin is totally clear now🥰 and is glowing, and all thanks goes to Samapti, you are an angel for me❤️, you gave me so much knowledge about maintaining a healthy skincare❤️😘🤗

Thank you for this beautiful video... I have a small doubt as you mentioned in one of your video that we shouldn't use more than 5% niacinamide...the cipla moisturizer contains niacinamide as its second ingredient ...so is it safe to use the naimax gel with this moisturizer?

@@happyktan6646 Using niacinamide more than 5% is not harmful or anything It's just that both 5% and 10% give equal benifit. It's just her personal opinion that she's not comfortable using more than 5%. But earlier she has used Revolution 10% niacinamide. I think if your skin barrier is affected use 10% and if your skin is in maintenance mode use 5%..... That's it.... And I use cipla excela moisturizer too. It has 2-3% niacinamide.

Clean and clear one is very harsh for our skin...... Instead of that you can use CleanseMe facewash. It's affordable has excellent ingredients and it's on Amazon. She uses 2 cleansers as she has dry skin as she's said that. 4 days it's cosrx one and 3 days Nutregena extra gentle cleanser because it's very mild and milky type facewash.

@@anurafernando1728 Ooo then it's adult acne. I faced the same in this lockdown too. At first use s very gentle cleanser like Nutregena extra gentle cleanser or the cleansMe one. Then just introduce a good niacinamide Serum. I use the Vya Naturals one but you can use Niamax D gel too. I use it at night daily. It will help in building the skin barrier effectively and will deal with hyperpigmentation too. After that use a very good hydrating moisturizer like the simple light moisturizer or Sebamed one is good too. And use Sunscreen daily. I use the Bello Photostable one. It's non comedogenic, fragrance free and is 40+ spf and PA+++. I just love it. For acne prefer salicylic acid but if you haven't used any chemical exfoliator till now. Go with genlte one with less %. I prefer the COSRX Aha bha toner 2-3 time a week at night. It's very mild but effective. You'll see good results in 2-3 weeks. That's it. Bee consistent. That's the key. And eat healthy. It helps a lot. Eat complex carbs do some exercise or walking.

The products you've mentioned contain glycerin .When I searched ingredients on sezia.co it shows its not right to use glycerin on them as it'll promote the yeast growth !

It's kinda confusing ! everything I use has glycerin so what I do now is just wash my face with cosrx low pH good morning gel facewash and apply some homemade neem toner and then snail essence and I'm not doing anything else !

As a teenager I don't have much money to see dermatologist so i did my research and come up with some products can you just look around on these products?
Facewash - as it going to wash so it doesn't really matters
toner - Rose water (juicy chemistry)
Essence - snail mucin (cosrex)
Actives- salicylic acid (minimalist)
Ninacinamide gel( niamax d gel)
Face pack - sulphur base ( Dr. Sheth face mask)
Moisturizer - oil free ( simple, aqua oat)
Suncreen - ?
I hv found all of these but didn't find suncreen for fungal acne so do you have any recommendation? I want to give it a try if this routine will don't work for me I will definitely see doctor.
Simple moisturizer broke me out on 2-3 days.. I had better skin and now I suddenly have a acne attack from cetaphil
