Gigi MW how do I sleep with my hair?
My hair is wavy and it has some curls but its also too short to put in a pineapple. And if I sleep with my hair in a ponytail, the roots get really straight and the ends are also straight ish. If I sleep with a bonnet the same thing happens with the pony tail. The only way I found out on how to sleep with my hair is wearing it down but that gives me a lot of tangles. Sooo how do I sleep with my hair?
@@itzeldelacruz5851 i would put the hair that reaches into a pineapple. the hair that doesn't just leave down. and in the morning just take detangling spray/ water and detangle the bottom, and refresh the top. that's what i did when i had my hair short and it worked pretty well for me. hope i helped🥰❤️

@@_kind3r idk I have 3b curly hair and I find it’s best when I wash it every 2-3 days because it’s fine and low density, plus I live in a very hot humid place so it gets sweaty and frizzy faster. It really just depends on what your individual hair likes. It’s okay to do your own thing and not follow a specific set of rules just because it’s curly.
Also, doesn't your scalp start itching at day 4 or 5? Mine does.
My scalp itches on day 2 . I hate it and i have no idea how to stop it man
@@dilligaf8953 I know! Its aggravating. Mine is better though, I brush my scalp at night with my Mason Pearson brush and it really helps!
that’s has to do with the products you use, mostly ur shampoo. anything in ur roots that has fragrance or other ingredients that are irritating will make that happen. get the think dirty app on ur phone and check ur products.
Same. It only itches when its dirty, thats when I know i need to wash it.
Yes before wash day my scalp becomes very itchy
i think day 4 hair is more defined because your natural oils are traveling down your curl shaft and they aren't being washed away by shampoo (although it does take longer for curly hair which is why curly hair is naturally more dry)
oh!!! So do U suggest more moisture my first couple days?? I’ve really been lacking in giving my hair moisture because I always feel like it’s TOO moist after I wash it, it is too soft/weighed down...but maybe I actually need more moisture and the problem is my hair is just too stripped the first day??? hmm you got me thinking ....
Gigi MW hmmm that’s a good question! there’s a few things that can be happening. when’s the last time you clarified? when i don’t clarify for a while my hair is so weighed down and too moist after i shower but then it also loses a lot a volume. your hair looks so awesome so it’s probably a lot healthier than mine. it could also be that you’re not moisturizing your hair before you put on mousse or gel and all that so your hair isn’t protected from the oils from those products. it also could be the type of moisture ur using (whether it’s for fine hair or thicker hair). i use really lightweight cream for my hair because it’s really fine so it gives me that moisture and volume balance :) it’s all trail and error tho! 💖
I just found your channel and 1. You’re gorgeous 2. Your personality and whole aura is just amazing 3. I have the same type of curls in the front of my head but the back always ends up being wavy/straight and idk why. When it’s wet It looks the same as the rest but then when it dries it goes straight. Idk why it’s really annoying though😂 also I’m putting the same amount of product there as elsewhere so idk but🤷♀️

I see you using mousse when refreshing but just to check.. when using it, is it ok to put it on dry hair or does it need to be like slightly damp? I only put it when I wash my hair when it’s soaking wet so I am scared to put it when refreshing as I don’t want it to cause me buildup haha 💜
gaboo 000 i have not had a problem with putting it on dry hair!! I know it looks like a lot but I rlly tried to only put a little. it’s also a light weight mousse! Blow drying it after helps it to sink in and fluff up instead of build up!!

itsseidymeoww try scrunching it out!! It has some Hold which makes it a little crunchy but if you scrunch your hair with ur hands after, it breaks the cast and will get rid of the crunch!

girl i love a slick back bun. You need a rat tail comb to give you a perfect part, after its parted spray the top of hair with water, then take the gel on your fingers a press down on either sides of the parts and the crown of your head to slick it down, then you need a soft brush to brush everything into a slick bun. Keep practicing and trust me it will look fire
