MSFS | White Waltham Airfield Scenery Showcase | Burning Blue Design

Hey guys, in this video GibboIreland introduces us to the 4th scenery from Burning Blue Design which is that of White Waltham Airfield (EGLM).
White Waltham is located in the Berkshire countryside, some 25 miles west of London in the UK, and has the largest grass airfield in Europe, as well as boasts the large flying club in the UK by being home to over 150 GA aircraft.
White Waltham is steeped in history and was originally founded in 1928, in the 2nd world war became home to the Air Transport Auxiliary which used the airfield as a base to ferry new, repaired and damaged military aircraft between factories, assembly plants and active service squadrons and airfields.
After the war White Waltham became a testing airfield for Fairey Aviation and later Westland Helicopters. Several famous aircraft designs had their first flight at White Waltham including Westland Wasp and Fairey Gannet, and The Fairey Rotodyne.
