All you have to do is take the shot accurately. That’s the new scope that Tim Pilbeam, has his hands on. He puts it through its paces and takes it out after fallow. That’s not all. Hunting technology has certainly come a long way in recent years.Still use the mod 1 BRNO .22 with the 4x20 Nikko Stirling scope my dad took on his travels through inland Australia back in the late 60's.Compare that to the Swarovski and it looks more like a museum piece!

Paul Cox should sue the police
It seems the Devon and Cornwall police are being grilled by the IA department after the Plymouth shooting this summer. Apparently the shooter had his license revoked, but it was returned to him a month before the shooting. So these confiscations from law abiding firearms owners are a way for the PD to look good to their superiors. Likely they’ve built a profile of “red flagged “ people aka middle aged white men who need to have guns revoked because they’re “dangerous .” Not only is this politicking over real policing, it’s downright unjust.

Getting to where the scopes will,weigh more than the rifle. At what point does technology make it non sporting?
Whatever gives a clean kill is best , one still has to stalk and hold the rifle steady to take the shot.....would it be more sporting to use iron sights and ball in a smooth bore?. I know where you're coming from though I've often thought the same.
Burris have had a range finding rifle scope for years but being old don’t think it as good as this new one.

You can refuse, but they'll get you in the end. Revocation means your legal insurance will work - but it doesn't look as good as surrendering your certificate when it comes to reapplying. / Charlie
@@fieldsportstv thanks for the advice, I’m hoping there isn’t any reason for them to try and remove them but after some of the cases you have reported on guess you can’t be sure

I would not be celebrating Paul Massie's christmas card- given the US shootings, it's tone deaf, as is he. I think you've called this one wrong. And yes, this comes from someone who shoots.
