Actually, I'm looking forward to picking up Splendor at a FLGs! I've heard of it and considered it for over a year now, but it always sounded basic and boring af. However, my city had a board game convention last weekend, the first one I ever attended. I decided to sign up for Splendor to see what all the fuss was about, and I had a blast! Equally as important, my regular game group is *very* casual. Like, before I joined, they were playing stuff like Chase the Ace and Pictionary! [Yes, we're all women in our 50's & 60's; none of them have played video games and they're not even really "board gamers".] Ticket to Ride is about the max difficulty most of them can handle, so I'm not going to waste my limited money on Wingspan or Spirit Island when I don't have anyone to play it with. But I can definitely get them into Splendor, so I'm looking forward to that!
Love CMON stuff, but I think I'm done with their crowdfunding. As a Canadian, it just doesn't make financial sense anymore given the conversion rate and ridiculous shipping rates. Not to mention, their games are hitting retail before backers are getting them. I just picked up Cthulhu season 3 and 4 at retail and feel like I saved a buttload of money and headaches. I understand that sometimes just the corebox doesn't feel like enough, but sometimes it can be worse to have too much, like a group of 6 players picking between 60 or so characters (Green Horde, ffs) taking up a full hour.
I really hope the Bullet Campaign shows off a physical version of the box before its over... I cant really back that without knowing what its looking/functioning like. There are hinges to open the top apparently, and it would be great to see that live.
I was thinking about backing bullet. I live in Canada I was comparing prices, local game store $41, level99 games website $59.99 shipping 5 - 9 business days shipping $67.00 extra, gamefound $51.35, plus $16 for shipping. gamefound pledge doesn’t offer stretch goals, no fear of missing out on something cool. I can’t believe the price difference. $67 price for shipping is crazy it’s not like I live in the up north in the bushes, 90 minute drive from Toronto.
Bullet campaign is also saying they will not ship the individual game boxes with game play pledge. They will only send the new storage box packed with the game. I think you are right, not a jumping in point.
Yes stop it! We all do that in different factions in our lives. You are definitely unique… which is why your videos are great and my favorite. I’ve said before we don’t always agree… but why would I watch any videos if I just wanted to hear my own opinion 🤷🏻♀️ Your videos are helpful. If I back someone because I seen it on your video, I definitely mention your RUclips channel. 😉
MOAR MASSIVE DARKNESS YASSSSSSSSSSSS. YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I want to have entire bookshelves of this game :D Here is to 1000+ more figures
I was very interested in Star Explores when I heard about it last year. Unfortunately I see it was picked up by Queen Games. I've had a couple bad experiences with Queen in the past so I won't back their crowdfunding projects any more. Oh well, it's not like I don't have too many games already...
I just cant do cmon crowdfunding bc if the shipping and lack of communication to backers. I also have trouble stomaching the fact i could go to a retailer and get it without paying shipping.
My only issue with the MD Character Pack is that, when the characters were previously released in their own packs, they also included new enemies, which aren't included now. Bards and Tinkerers had the Metal Angel, Monks and Necromancers had the Paragon, and the Druids had Beelzebub. Maybe an enemy pack will be added before the end of the campaign, like he mentioned.
Be aware that the Darkbringer pack DOES NOT contain the components to play each class. You need the base game for that. However, the Character pack DOES contain the components to play each class, so it's a good deal for $40. Also, Underspire is $40, not $30, in the combined pledge.
Great video as always Sold Death may die season 3+4 to finance Massive Darkness pledge. CDMD was good but became a bit repetetive Thekids will probably enjoy .Massive darkness more
CMON games can be a bit tricky, I backed Death May Die S5&6 cuz second handed market is pretty expensive for this series, but the MD series can be bought in much cheaper price.
Hey, people who have been pledging CMON’s stuff lately: who are the deliveries? It would be my first time ever backing projects and I wanna be realistic on how long I’d have to wait for the new MD and CDMD. I know CDMD Season 3 & 4 took a while to deliver, but if I’m not mistaken it was due to the pandemic, right?
I don’t think I like MD: Shadowreach’s graphic design nor the looks of the characters. This may be a retail buy for me eventually just to try the system. Staying away from the campaign will keep the content bloat down.
Comment Here and Let me know what your most interesting game for February is gonna be!

Age of Contrived has me fully interested.
The components look awesome. Not a fan of cardboard lol.

I share this mindset with you, I'll get my song tactics and then be done with them...
Totally depends on the game. Extras aren’t needed in every game but they’re great in some.
I hear that

thats a great point
Happy to see you finally got your hands on Slay the Spire!
:)
The new setting for MD2 is awesome. Getting just the new core game and the class box is such an awesome proposition if you don’t have anything yet
im definitely leaning...
I always remember the quote that a big box for a game is a sarcophagus for a game.
lol, so true at the same time.

Ouch
You're awesome man, appreciate your videos
Thanks!

yeah...been there
So many people suggested Zombicide, so I played it and was bored to tears. Massive Darkness looks so much more interesting!
Yeah...review for white death coming soon.....

always a good option

good points!!
Marvel United multiverse is a A++++
:)
If you have the Original MD2, there's nothing here other than the difficulty adjustment cards that's really worth it. So far not offered separately.
yeah its kinda an equal entry point if you dont already have it but new content in general to offer more those completionists
Only 5 days left for A Place for All My Books on KS. Looks interesting
it is interesting, but a try before buy for me
Great video as always Sold Death may die season 3+4 to finance Massive Darkness pledge. CDMD was good but became a bit repetetive Thekids will probably enjoy .Massive darkness more

I'm not familiar with this system but why is there an adventurer in a wheel chair at 2:22 ??
just cause i guess?

most of it.

Add half a year to a year onto whatever they say the estimated date is.
Masters of the universe, and song of ice and fire tactics both got massive delays the month of shipping
At least a year, half a year is unrealistic
I would guess 12-18 months
@@vantuantran5160 it's optimistic* 😂
I will buy your Dice Throne XMen pledge since you hate it. :)
lol.
All those extra boards aren't dual layered. That is disappointing and nothing annoys me more than bumping the track and guessing where the token was.
Ive got ❤,⭐, and 🍊 with the wooden bullets all in one box thanks to a 3d printed insert. The new box looks nice I don't think i need it.
Mind sharing the 3d insert?
That makes complete sense
31:09 Do you mean Taco/Cat/Goat/Cheese/Pizza??
yes!
Age of Automaton on Backerkit?
i missed it this week!
Earth Siege is simply too expensive. Nuff said
yup, small indie game slightly higher price

that last sentence for sure
