I am new to garfishing but the few times I have been Ive found if they are around they will show up within minutes of berleying up. If they dont then its time to move spots until you find them
Good for you, lady, but do you need to post this mundane fishing content on RUclips? What purpose does it serve, apart from self aggrandizement and encouraging the rest or the WORLD to plunder the local seas as you do. You are in Australia, understand very well the policies of the state and federal government in protecting our fish stocks and have the priviledge of consuming those stocks. Nobody cares what you do in your spare time, but to flagrantly post your conspicuous consumption (how about that truck you drive about for miles?) as if it is some kind of virtue or "sport" is absolutely tone deaf and repulsive to many. I seriously doubt the York Peninsula Council has anything to do with your exploits, apart from maintaining the shores upon which you fish. Enjoy the fishing, as is your right, but your type of endorsement is certainly not what the communities you pass through want.
Are you sure you speak for ‘all communities’? Sounds more like your personal opinion to me. Also the Yorke Peninsula council promotes fishing on their website and I would think recreational fishers provide a lot to the YP economy.

Burley is definitely the secret to catching them 👍
Such a great fish to eat. And you were getting some huge ones too. Plenty of Gar around at the moment
Yes so I have heard. Must try and catch some!
Wow some big gar there!
Awesome hey ❤️
They were a nice size for sure 😋
@@Martin.B. let’s hope we find a good spot closer to home for some this summer.
@anniefisho Normanville maybe .....
Great eating
For sure!
I'm lucky, Linda fillets them!
Nice one! What model Beefsticks do you use for beach/rock fishing?
Now we use shimano rod and shimano sedona reel. Nothing fancy!
Nice one! How strong is the current there? Wonder if I could use a kayak there?
Yep, on a calm day I think it could be a good spot👍
There would be squid around there too!
@Martin.B. I reckon
