    Good beach that one and we loved to sneak around to Corney point while we were down that way . The fish casserole looked great and I could almost taste it from here .

      We have tried Corney Point only once and it was really windy. Will definitely go back though! What have you caught there?

      @@fishingsister All of the species that you normally target plus big salmon , snapper , kingies and good sharks . We always fished the deep water off the rocks and you have to pick your days carefully .

    Love your videos, gives me good ideas where to go fishing in our state. Can I ask what length rods you use for beach fishing. Thanks.

    • @fishingsister
      @fishingsister  Год назад +2

      Hi Geoff that day we were using our Shimano extendable rods that are 11 foot and 12 foot as we were targeting mullet (smaller fish that were close to shore). When conditions are rougher and we are using heavy sinkers we use our 11 foot and 12 foot Penn beach rods as they are sturdier.

    Have you thought about throwing out a mullet as a live bait? They look perfect size for that...

    • @fishingsister

      Haven't done that before. What might you catch off the beach with that?

      @fishing sister yeah trying new things is always fun. I'm trying a lot of new things, focussing on soft plastics at the moment. I'm heading to KI on monday, so all your vids from their have been really helpful.

    I see you put your rods strait in the rod holder, are these mullet hooking themselves?

    • @fishingsister
      @fishingsister  7 месяцев назад

      Yes a lot of the time they hooked themselves especially when i was rigging up my other rod. Too easy 🤣

    What size/type/brand rod were you using off the beach when catching your mullet at Berry's?

    • @fishingsister
      @fishingsister  Год назад

      It's nothing fancy. It's a shimano eclipse lumo telescopic rod from bcf! Around 8ft.
