Good beach that one and we loved to sneak around to Corney point while we were down that way . The fish casserole looked great and I could almost taste it from here .
@@fishingsister All of the species that you normally target plus big salmon , snapper , kingies and good sharks . We always fished the deep water off the rocks and you have to pick your days carefully .
Hi Geoff that day we were using our Shimano extendable rods that are 11 foot and 12 foot as we were targeting mullet (smaller fish that were close to shore). When conditions are rougher and we are using heavy sinkers we use our 11 foot and 12 foot Penn beach rods as they are sturdier.
@fishing sister yeah trying new things is always fun. I'm trying a lot of new things, focussing on soft plastics at the moment. I'm heading to KI on monday, so all your vids from their have been really helpful.
Fantastic video guys. Well put together and brilliant catch. Gonna add that spot to our bucket list
Thanks Kevin! It was a tricky video to make with the different cameras - a learning curve for me :)
Wow. What a great day all round.... Plenty of fish, plenty of sun, perfect everything !!! And stop giggling LOL
Go go go Fishing Sister and Martin
Thanks Broderick! No chance that I will stop giggling 😆
Well done Linda what a nice day for fishing great catch
Yes the weather was spectacular that day!

We have tried Corney Point only once and it was really windy. Will definitely go back though! What have you caught there?

Ok - will check out the rocks when we head back there at Easter. Sounds good!
Amazing as always Linda and Martin! Hoping to be back there in winter for salmon season!
Thanks Kim! Love Berry Bay so much. We have a video of catching salmon there that we will release in a couple of months. So much fun!
Amazing! Looking forward to the video!
Love your videos, gives me good ideas where to go fishing in our state. Can I ask what length rods you use for beach fishing. Thanks.

@@fishingsister thanks.
Have you thought about throwing out a mullet as a live bait? They look perfect size for that...
Haven't done that before. What might you catch off the beach with that?
@@fishingsister big salmon, gummy shark, mulloway, big flathead, snook...
@@MattsFishingEscapes might try that

Awesome! I hope you have a great time on KI. We were blown away by that place :)
I see you put your rods strait in the rod holder, are these mullet hooking themselves?
Yes a lot of the time they hooked themselves especially when i was rigging up my other rod. Too easy 🤣
Love your videos but … wish you would spend more time filming the cook up in detail.
Thanks Brad. We have found showing a lot of our cooking causes people to drop out 😆. We have a cook book that we can send to you if you like?
Can you include the details of "the guy with the drone"?
We would have loved to give him the recognition but he didn't want to be named..his footage was excellent!
@@fishingsister Thanks Linda -- I thought that might have been the case. Yes, his work was excellent.
@@frankbrookes3930 we have just bought a drone and we are learning how to use it. Really gave us an appreciation of the quality of his footage!
👍😝🍻
What size/type/brand rod were you using off the beach when catching your mullet at Berry's?
It's nothing fancy. It's a shimano eclipse lumo telescopic rod from bcf! Around 8ft.
