Do yourself a favor the next time your in a good hardware store 🏬! If you even have any anymore 🙄🙄🙄🙄! They usually have boxes 📦 of those exact same screws! Made in America 🇺🇸 & they also could get stainless ones for more cost of course! But you could get a box 📦 of screws for what you would pay for a kit of just a few! You have a great tire shop out there! I’m just glad I could use a tire machine when I need them! Hopefully all goes well with the pickup!
@@billboeck5280 He said "Back", and I thought the same thing for a moment, but the camera was showing the "Front" wheels, so he was saying to put them on the Rear, not the Front. Not saying back meaning Inside, as opposed to front meaning Outside.
As unlikely as it sounds, debris can strike the stem and cause a flat mid pass. Rubber also can crack or pull out. It's much more reasonable on circle track stuff. But it's like a $20 cost for safety. Who wouldn't spend $20 to be safer.
Very good information, thank you.
Looks awesome Eric!!! Can't wait to see a smoky burnout!
I also have had some great experiences with local tire shops when working on drag wheels and tires. Car guys are great to find
You always got good info on stuff . Love your videos
Literally just did the same thing yesterday lol jegs kit made it easy
Thanks Eric
Should always bubble balance slicks.
Did you run tubes in the slicks?
Are you running 5/8 wheel studs or 1/2?
I bent the 1/2 so now 5/8
Did I miss something, $65 to mount a tire?

Aw dude, that's cheating, lol. I wish I had one of those templates when I did mine. I had to actually measure to make them spaced right.
Rim screws go on both sides. NOT just the in side. bad do not do that.... Both side always always always....
I agree that’s why they are on both sides of the wheel.

If I'm wrong I apologize but I'm pretty sure I heard you saying in the beginning of the video you only put them on the back side

The metal valve stem thing is stupid like why what's a rubber valve stem gonna do blow apart lol
