I was just looking at some cute salt and pepper shakers and tempted to buy them. Then I thought, I already have nice ones and decided no. I refuse to clutter my home again after so much hard work letting go of stuff. Temptation is there.
I was in a department store a few weeks ago and the bags and shoes and goodies were so beautiful. But i said to myself, i dont want this stuff or need it. It actually felt good acknowledging this. x
❤ Thank you for your videos. I feel bad for spending and thinking of all the negatives. Ive been much better in stores, decluttered 80% of our stuff haha only allowing 2 items for baby bday soon so im not impulse getting. My main issue is eating out.. ill spend alot each month being lazy or depressed and filling my voids with foods and drinks and lack dicipline or desire to cook enough at home. We have good funds and once the food is gone i feel no guilt, yet i see my better physical purchases and feel worse smh. Idk what else to try to stay home more, we went to too many places today and so much buyers remorse even if needs
Great questions! I have definitely asked these to myself too. I don't know if I ever asked the one about if it brings peace or stress. I don't think I would ever buy something that I can't use or that will stress me out one day. That would be awful! I think many people buy things because of voids or buy things because they are hoping it will bring them happiness.
Thank you for this video! I also think the best way to prevent clutter is to not buy random, useless things in the first place, all these questions are really useful and insightful. I wrote them down to come back to before my next purchase.

Exactly!
I've gotten better about bringing stuff into my house, but I still need to work on my spending. These were great tips.
thank you for being here! 🤍
I’d add “where was this item made/sourced from?” And ask of it is supporting local and/or second hand

I’m starting to (hopefully 🤞🏻) stop over-shopping. I try to tell myself that I don’t need the stuff but it’s still really tempting.
