This is why just "one bad apple" is still a terrifying thing to happen with police. The amount of power they have in how many lives they can ruin
Agreed even as a pro-police person.
Also, the expression is “one bad apple spoils the bunch”, not “it’s only a few bad apples, just transfer them to a different basket, it’ll be fine”.

Police should have the same punishment as the person that would get punished for the false evidence
No, police should be held to a higher standard.
They are given greater power than civilians, so their punishments should also be greater.
@@shawbros I believe in justice, an eye for an eye means that one shouldn't be punished more than what he has done, if one takes an eye, one can only be taken an eye
@@Not-A-Content-Creator
As an example, for people that have a CDL, when they get charged with a moving violation, their punishments are higher than people that just have a regular drivers license. They have a higher responsibility, therefore when they break the law, their punishments are higher.
@@shawbros I understand that, and I can see where this is going, I don't have all the answers so you might be right, idk.
@@shawbros Agreed. Any abuse of the shield should be considered high treason as it is a treachery of ideals and a betrayal of the citizens you swore to protect and thus execution or life in prison minimum.

When I was working as a paramedic we had a cop rear end one of our ambulances on the freeway, the cop claimed the ambulance backed into him on the freeway, he didn't realize ambulance companies are one of the most sued businesses out there and we had multiple cameras on the ambulance including one in the cab that shows what the driver is doing. Once he realized his claims were obviously fake he attempted to arrest the driver for DUI, which of course when the other officer tested her she passed and was not under the influence, you could tell the other officers on scene were irritated with this other officer. most cops aren't corrupt but the ones who are can absolutely ruin your life.
This is what I don’t get. Why do police officers always have to blame others for their own mistakes? Even when they get caught lying, their lies will just get bigger and bigger. What’s wrong with just apologising!
@@truthnottreason7287 It's having an ego and a massive power trip the moment these government-legal criminals are given a badge.

@Cheerio Box I meant like as in cops who aren't corrupt and seriously would want actual justice in the system, and when they see this, I know they won't do anything about it since it would hinder their job
@Cheerio Box yeah.. I’m sure every cop sees their partners plant drugs on people on a regular basis. You’re delusional
@@parkerlawhon4898 Do you have any evidence to the contrary? There’s thousands, potentially many many more, of videos online where cops are recorded doing this exact thing. I have yet to see ONE video done by a cop calling out any of these people in a serious manner.
@Cheerio Box why not say something like The System Is Corrupt, yk, instead of assuming the moral stance of every man and woman on the police force, they have families to take care of and it’s because of how the system is set up that they can’t do anything, even if they tried, it’s not their fault, it’s either they do nothing or lose everything (and maybe even have a fake case made against them)
@Cheerio Box 🥴🚽💩
Ah yes, host of other charges, the worst crime imaginable.
This leads to one crime after another after another. An innocent, hard working, tax paying citizen turned into a lowlife criminal because of a crooked or racist cop. That's why my heart races when I get pulled over.
Whats ironic is that when a regular civilian gets arrested, that person and others cry about how there is no evidence. But when a cop gets accused of wrong doing, those same people say the cop is guilty, even with zero evidence. Lol. Americans is slang for hypocrites 🙄
U know what's sad? How our first instinctive feeling we get when the police pull us over for anything trivial: fear & dread. If that doesn't tell u how our police force is then idk what will

This should be the top comment in my opinion. I could not agree more with you Caleb!
Some cops are more crooked than the criminals they arrest.
Considering most arrests are for petty offences I would say most cops are.
It's insane but it sadly does happen all over the world. Who knows how many people are currently spending time in jail for a crime they did not commit

They use some website to get templates. Forgot what it's called.
They don’t make any of the animations themselves they buy them and find an “interesting” story on Wikipedia

I'm from the Waukegan Illinois area and I've met Juan Rivera on many occasions, Rivera's story is just absolutely terrible - thankfully his situation was resolved, however this area has a real problem with police corruption however despite all of the evidence the corruption is only exposed when real pressure is put on a particular case, and despite the evidence showing wide-spread corruption the county portrays all of these corruption cases as "segregated incidents"...

Wonderful facts in these kind of videos that are NOT fiction!! Enjoyed!
My friend's uncle Enardo was set-up by the cops, they plant an drug illegal drug inside his bag & they torture him physically to confess a crime he didn't committed. While he is in prison he was framed again, someone killed a guard & the inmates pointed to Enardo so he was sent to solitary confinment, after 21 years he was released after being proven innocent & was paid by large amount of cash but Enardo change he become emotionless & always quiet & only talk when someone's communicating with him.

My cousin was shot in the face by a police officer, and a Deli’s security footage caught him planting a knife while he lay motionless & bleeding.

In that case, prosecution of that cop is more likely than not if all the facts line up. Don't judge the cop community by the bad apples no matter what. You can be wary but don't discriminate all cops because of your experience. Hope you get justice or can work on getting it.

What a lot of people don’t realize is the large departments are generally the ones that deal with misconduct the most I think it’s because if you work with a agency like mine every cop there has grown up with the people and we know who does what in the county
Your into something! If you don’t live around or grow up in the city your tasks with protecting you have no connection to the people making biases, racism, and corruption etc easier to grow within and spread. I don’t believe a police officer with any bias Traits should be tasked with protecting the population of that area because their life doesn’t matter and it’s ridiculous for those types of individuals to be given a right to carry a weapon under those beliefs!

They said the cop had a black object in his hands but couldnt prove he planted it. They dropped all the charges
This is awful. I think that police falsifying evidence to get a conviction on those they either think are guilty or just because they want an open and shut case, should be given the highest level of punishment available. These are people who should be upholding the law, and protecting people. You can't get that time back. You can't be brought back into existence after execution. This is vile and disgusting, and police officers should be held to higher moral standards and face worse punishment for bullying, harassment, falsifying evidence or any other action where they abuse their powers. Such vile individuals.
