    Two things: first, Kristen is by far one of the most endearing reactors I’ve seen on RUclips. She’s so sweet and genuinely enjoys things for what they are and her lack of expectations makes it so entertaining. Second, I don’t think I realized she might not watch trailers for the movies and that makes her reactions more layered honestly and I am loving this marvel journey for her!

    In the play that Loki/Odin is watching, Matt Damon plays Loki, Chris' brother Luke Hemsworth plays Thor, and veteran actor Sam Neill plays Odin. Cate Blanchett played Hela in this film, and Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit franchise. So she was a very good queen of the Elves and a very bad queen of Asgard.

    • @agffans5725
      @agffans5725 Месяц назад +3

      Being from Denmark myself, it irritate me that they have not used the original name Hel instead of Hela, I'm sure for some politically correct reason, but in Norse mythology and in the ancient old Norse language 'Hel' means "underworld' and Hel (the female in question) preside over an underworld realm of the same name, where she receives a portion of the dead. Kind of like hell in Christianity, but then obviously not quite in the same way.

    • @SeedFactoryProject
      @SeedFactoryProject Месяц назад

      @@agffans5725 The MCU stays away from religion to avoid offending different parts of their audience. For example, real world Middle-Eastern terrorism is associated with Islamic groups, but that connection is removed in Iron Man 1. In the US "Hell" is associated with Satan and Christian beliefs. "Hela" is sufficiently different in pronounciation and there are not many people who follow the Norse gods these days, so they don't offend many viewers.

    • @agffans5725
      @agffans5725 Месяц назад +1

      @@SeedFactoryProject .. Norse mythology is not a religion but mythology. Well perhaps you will find around 5,000 people who still do some kind of cosplay "religious" rituals in all of Scandinavia, but considering it a religion is way off the mark.
      There are some theories that the Nordic Gods, and the Nordic people are of alien origin and so not really originally from earth, as the Thor film series also kind of suggest. But non of this should stand in the way of using the original name of Hel.

    • @agffans5725
      @agffans5725 Месяц назад

      I'm among the most Nordic of all the Nordics, being of the small Danish tribe of the Angles/Angels =the Anglo. If you were to ask me if I feel human, alien or both, you would most surely be surprised about my answer.

      @szabivan 9 дней назад

      @@agffans5725 hmm in Norse mythology Hel is the daughter of Loki which of course would not have worked in the movie / comics (I'm not literate enough in the infinity arc of the comics to know how it is handled there) so they had to change things considerably anyways

    Loki wasn’t a coward for calling to be brought back to Asgard. His decision was right, but his timing was wrong. Best part of this movie is Hulk ragdolling Thor like he did to Loki in the first Avengers movie. I find it hilarious though that that's the same actor who played Julius Caesar on Xena: Warrior Princess playing Skurge, Karl Urban
    Two points:
    1. Loki looks DAMN good in Earth clothes
    2. Hulk's mental capacity depends on how Bruce transforms. If he does it willingly, like in the Battle in New York, he has complete control over himself and he speaks more clearly. But if he gets triggered into changing by something outside of his control, Hulk will be a living battering ram with, as Tony Stark once said....with BREATHTAKING anger management issues.

      HUGE plot hole… It should have just made him stronger, like when he blasted Man with a lightning bolt

    All I know is that in theaters, when the 2nd Immigrant song hit after "god of hammers" I felt like I could have ripped my theater seat out of the ground. The pump was incredible!

    Fun fact: when Thor says that he knows Hulk from work, that day on the set they had some young guy visiting (think they were something like a cancer sufferer or something like that) and he said they should have Thor say that he recognises Hulk from work. Taikawititi (the director and voice of Korg, the rock guy) liked it so much that they put it in the script 🙂

    Noice! My favourite Solo Franchise MCU film and definitely the best Thor movie. A perfect blend of awesome action, hilarious comedy, and dazzling effects. Also, the Music Vid I edited from this with The Immigrant Song (and not a re-Mix) for my crappy little channel is by far my most successful. Kristen is helping save Monday...and that's a Mitzvah, Cheers. 🥃

    The song you love so much is "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin. What makes the song perfect for this movie is its references to Norse mythology stemming from the fact that it was written while on tour in Iceland.

    Next to the new Deadpool & Wolverine, this is hands down the most fun and hysterical movie in the MCU.

    If you look at Dr. Strange's lips when he tells where Odin is he says "New York" which is where they were supposed to find him before they changed it to Norway.
