As a lifelong comic book nerd, I was very much looking forward to this. I thought for sure, somehow, they'd wimp out on the real story and make it all soft and happy. At the end I was gleefully happy, they did the story justice. meanwhile my young nephews were crying, as was most of the crowd. Shocked into silence. It was an amazing experience. 2nd alltime favourite MCU movie.
Yes, same here. I knew how I wanted this to end, and how it was supposed to end if it really was going to be the massive crossover event they were hyping it as, but I didn't truly believe they'd have the guts to go through with it and leave it that way for the end of the movie until I saw it. I took my 13-year-old Little Brother to see it (after I'd gone to opening night with my friend). He had literally no idea what was going to happen, or what would happen next. I was his age when the Infinity Gauntlet series came out, so it was really poetic. We talked about it for hours, with me doing my best to encourage him to have hope for the future, without spoiling what I knew about upcoming movies and how the original series turned out.
I find in a way the impact of the snap is way stronger here than in the comics. In the comics Thanos does that right at the beginning to impress death and there's no conflict and build up. The heroes only find out something is off when half the world disappears. Here it's this desperate run against time to stop him and they are consistently a step behind.
@ember-evergarden yes I do say. I've seen all those films, and if I had the choice to only watch one of those films or endgame again, I'd watch endgame. As I said, personally, it's more entertaining.
Spidermans vanishing is particularly heartbreaking, because while the others know they are vanishing because they can see themselfts turn to dust, he is the only one that actually feels anything... his spidey sense is going haywire overwhelmed him with a sense of dread
This movie sent audiences back home crying from the theaters lol. One of my most favorite films. It was an unforgettable experience specially because the villain won in the end. Very few times this happens in stories. This film had the guts to do that.
In the theater, little kids were bawling when Spider-Man turned to dust... There were gasps when Black Panther turned to dust, no one could believe what they were seeing. We're all there with you.
Man the Spiderman death was the hardest one. He was begging not to go. You right for the emotion a lot of people felt the same way. An when black widow was trying to take out vision. An Thanos was comming towards her that's Cinema

One can tell Kristen is absolutely enjoying the MCU journey on a surface level, but not fully invested, when she can't even remember "Tony Strike's" real name, let alone "his wife's". 😂
I'm gonna give Kristen a pass on the whole "Tony Strike" thing. She was all caught up in her emotions and trying her best to come up with what she wanted to say. You can kinda tell the first time she says it. She knows that she is wrong but committed to being wrong in order to not lose focus and say what she was thinking at the time. It's a very TV host way of thinking, and since she used to host a TV show, it makes sense that it's part of her training.
@rdp16rulez that's fine, but that was just an example. Her lack of deep investment is evident in all her MCU reactions. That's fine of course, I'm not saying she HAS to get that deeply invested. At least she's genuinely enjoying them more and more. I was just making an observation.
We all left the theater confused and with tears in our eyes! So you crying is not "stupid" at all!! it just means you somehow connect with the characters and their stories just like many of us!! Looking forward to the following reactions Kristen!!
Kristen's lack of knowledge of the characters that were gonna be in this is an example of how we just watch too many goddamn spoilery trailers before big releases. I would give ANYTHING to have not known that Dr. Strange or the Guardians or any of the characters who were in it, her unadulterated excitement was sooooo fun to watch as an MCU fanatic. Great reaction, Kristen! ❤❤
I agree, that's why Spiderman was no fun for me I knew all 3 and all the old villains were coming back. I have zero reaction and didn't enjoy the movie like others did . I'm not doing it to myself anymore. No more spoiler channels 😂
KRISTEN! Please stop saying you're stupid for feeling the way you do, you're freaking AWESOME. we all felt this way the first time we watched this movie. It's okay to get emotional. It's actually coming across as very genuine honestly, it's not stupid at all.❤🤗
Truly truly truly one of the most amazing theater experiences I’ve ever had. Just a bunch of fans that have been watching these characters grow & grow for years. The cheering, the laughs, the crying like the theater was IN SYNC it was amazing. I love when movies can just bring people together
Yay we're here! Amazing movie and honestly seeing so many of our heroes all together still gets me hyped all these years later. Also Cap should always have a beard 😆
This is the best thor we have ever seen. I don't know why taika did what he did on love and thunder. The fact that the mcu wasted Christian Bale like that is crazy.
The impact of the movie is like I didn't watch any movies for 3 months after this movie. That much of an impact that this movie has created in me that time. As a marvel fan this movie is an emotional roller coaster ride.
I swear I watched a “reaction” the other day and every single zoom in was just them sucking their teeth or like, just staring at the screen. I was so confused.
Never feel stupid for crying. Empathy is a good thing. I cries my eyes out for Wanda too, she lost her entire family, her country and had to watch the love of her life die twice. It's rough!
If you're paying attention you might notice that nearly everyone who remains is one of the OG phase one characters. The few exceptions would be a handful of side characters who were introduced after phase one, like Rocket, but all other main characters are gone.
Me encantan las reacciones de esta chica. Me acostumbré mucho a seguir este canal a pesar de que no hablo inglés, pero no importa de alguna manera entiendo todo. Saludos desde Argentina
Infinity War is my favorite marvel movie. Endgame was great and I cried a couple of times. But this movie is exciting from start to finish with no dull or slow moments at all.
Within the first ten minutes of this movie, Thanos asserted himself as THE villain in comic book movies. They altered his personality and his motives for wanting the Infinity Stones when compared to the comics. In the comics, Thanos is literally in love with Death; I mean, the literal, physical manifestation of Death in the Marvel Universe. Abstract concepts like love, hate, Death, Eternity, etc. are all actual sentient beings who can take corporeal form in the comics. In the comics, Thanos wipes out half the population of the universe as a gift to Mistress Death, who isn't impressed as she finds it callous but, in the MCU, Thanos is a bit more sympathetic in that he feels he's balancing existence in order to preserve the universe's resources. Even if you deplore his methods, which you kinda have to considering the man is committing genocide, he's more relatable as a fanatic who genuinely believes he's saving the universe than he would be if he were was trying to win the affection of Death itself.
Yeah comics tend to be more outlandish and unrealistic because they are generally catered to only kids and teens, who typically don't care about realism or logic lol. Hence, why the movie adaptations tend to be more grounded and nuanced because they will also be for adult audiences.
I believe part of that is because The Infinity Gauntlet was written for Gen X in early 90s and by current standards Thanos would fall into a creep incel character, while back in the 80s and 90s Jim Starlin was writing as a tragic live story where he does everything and never conquers her love. The culture changed, that motivation doesn't read the same anymore.
The movie adaptations ARE NOT more grounded kidding me? That was a giant purple guy fighting a lot of guys with superpowers, a talking racoons and a tree. They changed the love story because it makes Thanos a pathetic incel but the Malthusian "eliminate half population to preserve resources" was from Jim Starlin himself. He wrote a whole issue of Thanos describing that life needed correction as he says in the film and ends saying that's why he believes in Death. The writers kept that part and took off the personification of Death who was also not established in the MCU until Aubrey Plaza showed up as Death in Agatha All Along.
@@adrianomoraes5992 Compared to the comics, they ARE more grounded lol. Not "grounded", generally mind you. But it has more relatable elements in terms of the character arcs and developments.
It's all good Kristen. Loved the reaction. Your theory of Dr. Strange is interesting and I think you might be on to something. I believe he spared Iron Man for a reason. He knew which future the Avengers would win and how. He wanted Tony and the remaining Avengers to figure out what that possible future is.
I don't think anyone is going to make fun of you, your reaction all of these years later is pretty much how alot of moviegoers reacted seeing this movie upon its original release. And seeing how much it got to you just reinforces that this movie still continues to carry that level of emotional resonance.
Of all the reaction videos I've seen on the Marvel movies, your reaction is the best. Stop saying you're "stupid". Your reaction and your attachments to the characters is the reason writers write stories and filmmakers make movies. Keep loving the stories and characters and most importantly, keep being you!
It's fine to cry...the entire theater did. There's youtube audience reaction videos for Infinity War that show it. The only thing that broke it was the end credits scene when those of us that knew what that logo on the pager was for! :D That resulted in cheering!
This is still one of the best comic book movies ever made. Not only did it pay off a 10 year plan with the Infinity stones, it’s also the 1st time a major comic book movie ended with the heroes absolute failure.
yeah, that's one thing people keep forgetting. This was 10 YEARS of build up. Too many binged this during covid and are now complaining about waiting more than 2 years for the end of the new saga.
Thing is this new saga sucks in comparison so people are itching to get it over and done with and move on to the next. Look at the quality of each of the 3 phases in the infinity saga and compare it to what we have now, its absolutely shambolic. The drop off is crazy but theres hope for the future. I wish secret wars ends in a much needed reboot like its comic counterpart.@@joseherrera8489
The absolute BEST part of this reaction was when Captain Marvel's logo shows up at the end and she goes "well that didn't make me feel any better" LOL How right you are...
When i first saw this movie in Theaters, i was immediately convinced that this was THE BEST MCU movie (even before Endgame), but after a while of not seeing it, i wantec to go back and check it out, just to see if i was only blinded by the hype. I saw it, and MAN this movie not only holds up, the lines, cinematography, and even character choices are great.
Great reaction! The audience I was in when this showed in theaters were all in tears, including the guys... pure silence and heartbreak- you are not alone. However, the rollercoaster only speeds up.... keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times, and please remember no flash photography!
19:02 Bubbles came out because Thanos stopped him but Quill DID do it. For Love he kept his promise. 30:59 On Asguard there were not Racoons. Thor sees Rocket as a Rabbit. 54:27 Due to his Spider sense Peter could detect his dusting coming. That is why he said "I don't feel so well."
I like to think Rocket lets Thor get away with calling him Rabbit cause Thor says it at least respectfully and not like it’s meant as an insult to rocket.
Saw this in the theatre. Total silence and gasps over and over again. The teenage boys next to me (total strangers to me) were crying. Stumbling out of the theatre.
22:25 I love that line. Here's more lines I made up myself: You can't be Guardians of the Galaxy if there's no one to Guard it & You can't be Fantastic Four if it's not actually four people.
Kristen im gonna make you even more sad the moment groot was vanishing during the snap he called Rocket “Dad” james gunn confirmed it to somebody back in twitter they asked him what he said to rocket
Seeing how the first groot died and Rocket used a twig of his remains and planted it to grow the new Groot. Rocket is technically Groots' dad at that point since he's responsible for him existing.
When this movie was over opening weekend, all I remember was the shock and silence in the theater. I didn’t remember the movie much. This was such an ending.
Nebula did say thanos was a lot of things but a liar wasn't one of them. That corresponds with thanos saying gamora was a bad liar because he never taught her how to do so. That being said, I think her planet is alright. I think thanos' plan was a success. He definitely wasn't going to lie about something like that because he isnt one to lie. Mind you, gamora didn't even rebut that point, she continued by saying "that's because you murdered half the planet" this was when thanos said the kids on her planet have known nothing but full bellies and blue skies. This shows his plan was indeed successful on her planet. The reason why they probably said she was the last of her kind is probably because her kind are now rare to see around as their population is still recovering.
I was so looking forward to Kristen's reactions to this one. I am glad people were respectful and nobody spoiled the ending because it was such a shock.
I remember telling you when you were on Guardians one that you would love Rocket to meet Hulk and Iron Man well…….. your patience is going to payoff in our next film!!!!!!

This is one of only 5 movies that I have seen more than once at the theater in my entire life. I absolutely love this movie.
This is peak mcu. Personally its peak cinema. The banter between the gotg and stark and spidey is amazing.
"peak cinema" he says. jfc. watch Heat, Godfather, psycho, Chinatown, alien. literally anything that isn't made for zoomers
It's a beautiful thing to get to see this movie again "with" someone that hasn't seen it before. Wonderful reaction Kristen!
The Hulk got his ass kicked and he don’t want to fight no more.
I don't blame him!
Shoot, with an ass whooping like that I wouldn’t either. I’d change my look and identity
Look what all the fighting got to the other guys.
That wasn't the reason why. Hulk left earth because he was afraid of the damage he can cause to innocent lives. He actually left to earth on a suicide mission but he ended on Sakarr. When Thor showed up hulk to it to heart when Thor said that no one on earth likes him .
Hulk is afraid to come out to no harm earth, not cuz of thanos
@@120bhbrincorrect. The Russo brothers already confirmed that hulk didn’t want to come out because he’s tired of always running to Bruce rescue. He’s sick of always having to defend him or save him from something.
Remember Dr. Strange saw 14 million outcomes and only 1 win. He knew what he was doing.
👉 🐜 🍑 only one way to beat Thanos
@@piusdoe8984 For a more realistic version of what that would be like, Season 2 of invincible will make you retch.
I still remember the experience watching this on opening night at the theatres. Unreal atmosphere
50:16 "I'm so emotional, the fact that he almost died."
**grabs popcorn**
🙄
Movies need to sell, especially these high budget ones that's why
KRISTEN! Please stop saying you're stupid for feeling the way you do, you're freaking AWESOME. we all felt this way the first time we watched this movie. It's okay to get emotional. It's actually coming across as very genuine honestly, it's not stupid at all.❤🤗
This was the Marvel fandom's darkest hour.
Darker than dark.
Nah that was She-Hulk
Wandavision
Truly truly truly one of the most amazing theater experiences I’ve ever had. Just a bunch of fans that have been watching these characters grow & grow for years. The cheering, the laughs, the crying like the theater was IN SYNC it was amazing. I love when movies can just bring people together
Yay we're here! Amazing movie and honestly seeing so many of our heroes all together still gets me hyped all these years later. Also Cap should always have a beard 😆
There's a Ryan George video about Cap's beard that's the funniest thing. It's a fan begging to not shave because they lost so much already lol
@@adrianomoraes5992 I love Ryan George! I'll check it out😊
That "fate wills it so" speech was so badass. Hemsworth is such a fantastic Thor....I love when he's like this and not cracking jokes...
This is the best thor we have ever seen. I don't know why taika did what he did on love and thunder. The fact that the mcu wasted Christian Bale like that is crazy.
I love how she kept calling him Tony Strike. 😂 (it's Tony Stark)
She reverts back.
It's Tony Stank! 😁
The impact of the movie is like I didn't watch any movies for 3 months after this movie. That much of an impact that this movie has created in me that time. As a marvel fan this movie is an emotional roller coaster ride.
Someone needs to fire this editor. Stop zooming in where there is literally no reaction, it's annoying and jarring and pointless.
I swear I watched a “reaction” the other day and every single zoom in was just them sucking their teeth or like, just staring at the screen. I was so confused.
and they cut out the blip entirely
Its not pointless, it avoids copyright
@@scoobysnak07 Maybe the editor needs to learn from other channels that don’t seem like they have tourette's trying to avoid copyright claims.
So whattaya want, a refund?
Never feel stupid for crying. Empathy is a good thing. I cries my eyes out for Wanda too, she lost her entire family, her country and had to watch the love of her life die twice. It's rough!
If you're paying attention you might notice that nearly everyone who remains is one of the OG phase one characters. The few exceptions would be a handful of side characters who were introduced after phase one, like Rocket, but all other main characters are gone.
Also, why would you doubt the validity of your reaction? We ALL cried, even more so in part two.
I've seen it at least 20 times, but the kid saying "I don't want to go" makes me cry every single time.
Oh shit.... Be Prepared
I can't get over her simultaneously saying "He's my favorite" while calling him "Tony Strike".
Infinity War and End Game still hit hard.
55:29 I felt that 'that didn't make feel better, at all' in a whole, another level 😂
WHAT A PERFECT MOVIE!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
BEST MCU MOVIE until now!!
It's crazy that not even halfway through the movie, Kristen has been able to predict so much. She's a true Cinepal ~
Its infinity sunday this is like the third react channel to drop an infinity war video on my timeline today
It was a very ballsy move to end the movie on such a no-hope-possible loss.
The theatre was completely silent.
I enjoyed your reaction to it.
Every time kristen reacts to something, I just laugh at the Walter White meme
I don't think anyone is going to make fun of you, your reaction all of these years later is pretty much how alot of moviegoers reacted seeing this movie upon its original release. And seeing how much it got to you just reinforces that this movie still continues to carry that level of emotional resonance.
This is what the MCU was all about
Of all the reaction videos I've seen on the Marvel movies, your reaction is the best. Stop saying you're "stupid". Your reaction and your attachments to the characters is the reason writers write stories and filmmakers make movies. Keep loving the stories and characters and most importantly, keep being you!
Watching this with an audience was AN EXPERIENCE
We Marvel fans call the next movie the "Sad One". Good Luck!
?? Ant Man and Wasp? I've never heard it referred to in such a way...
Great movies can't wait for avengers endgame reaction.
Recommendation: Toy Story 1-4,Twister and Up.
Great reaction! The audience I was in when this showed in theaters were all in tears, including the guys... pure silence and heartbreak- you are not alone.
However, the rollercoaster only speeds up.... keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times, and please remember no flash photography!
This movie is awesome and I can’t wait to see reaction of Avengers Endgame
I love that Kristen’s reaction is REAL compared to most
When she gets emotional it puts u inna feels
Kristen im gonna make you even more sad the moment groot was vanishing during the snap he called Rocket “Dad” james gunn confirmed it to somebody back in twitter they asked him what he said to rocket
@Squarecubez jeez are you always fun at parties 🤡
Seeing how the first groot died and Rocket used a twig of his remains and planted it to grow the new Groot. Rocket is technically Groots' dad at that point since he's responsible for him existing.
WHAT NO I JUST STARTED THIS VID IM ALRD SAD BC OF THIS
Bro shut up
@@Squarecubezwhy do you speak groot? What did he say originally then since you know everything?
When this movie was over opening weekend, all I remember was the shock and silence in the theater. I didn’t remember the movie much. This was such an ending.
Thanos never went back to Gamora’s planet. He didn’t know what happened. In GOTG 1 when they arrest Gamora, they mention she’s the last of her kind.
He never taught her to lie... that's why she's so bad at it.
"It'll give you pink eye". I laugh so hard I spilled my coffee
First Like because I'm ready for you to get to the end!!!!
I have watched several reaction videos to this movie and I think I tear up every time a reactor does. I did this time too. Kristen, your emotions were on point and no one will make fun of you.
Such an emotional movie and we were all so vested. Thanks for the reaction and cant wait to see the next one.
54:13 not half the world. Half of the UNIVERSE. That’s how powerful the Infinity Stones are.
Don't apologise for being emotional! We all were! This is the culmination of 10 years of getting to know and love these characters. It hurt.
23:49 this scene of Steven asking Tony if he could get them home always confused me because Steven had his sling ring so he could have opened a portal to earth. Both on the ship and on the planet Titan since we see him do it in A4
Seeing Thor pull up to Wakanda was one of the best cinematic moments in history. That turned theaters worldwide into stadiums.
This woman should watch all the movies, her reactions are the best
She reacts for a living and forgets main characters💀she didn’t even recognize the red skull in this and called Bucky “caps best friend” because she didn’t remember his name🤣idk if that’s what I’d call the best, I love this channel tho so I’ll gladly give them my view
@@JayJustClippedYou she's the worst one on here... Gets over excited and her movie knowledge is exceptionally awful
@@deano007 To each their own. Have a pleasant day.
Leaving the theater was so surreal after this. Normally people are talking and smiling, but everyone was just quiet and somber.

"Noooo, give him pink eye"
That made me laugh hard. And I still keep smiling when I think about it.
