Even if Ashenvale pvp event is not super great, Ashenvale is a murderfest. Literally groups of rogues on roads, roaming death squads, raids going to BFD. I literally duoed the zone with my buddy so I didnt get ganked as much. The Ashenvale event, while flawed, gives people a reason to go out into the world and play the game with a bunch of other players. The classic team did an excellent job making the world of warcraft the main character and I cant wait to see what we get in the future.
I agree 💯 the event is pretty easy and fairly quick. It’s not perfect but like you said gets people out in the world. Sometimes your faction is the rolling death squad whether it be during the event or just leading up to it. Sometimes you’re on the other side. Either way I’ve really enjoyed SoD so far it’s everything I hope classic relaunch would be as far as being fun and interactive.
After hearing this about the Ashenvale event, I'm happy that my first experience was a good one. Multiple huge battles, wiping each other to slow down boss killing progression, we even got wiped at 3%. However we pulled through and summoned everyone to the final boss straight after shredder, and won by such a small margin. Was a really fun experience, and I feel stupid for not bothering to play it because of other people's experiences.
There are two versions of the Ashenvale event, peak or off peak server hours. The former exposes the degenerate player base, the latter revealing the brilliance and intentions of the devs.
Im hoping that the event will continue to run in future phases. The rep is a great addition, and with higher level caps it will be less "peak"@@77rockcity
Blizzard needs to stop doing PvP events where there are two bosses active at once. The right way to do a world PvP event is to have one side attack another town, and then switch and have the other side attack the other town. Otherwise people will just run past each other.
Ashenvale is odd for sure, tbh it’s the most exciting pvp I’ve done. It is indeed mostly PvE but when both sides slam into each other at Cata, it’s strategic, it’s grand and it’s bloody epic. Seeing raids of people fighting is unlike anything, very memorable!
to fix the PVP part of Classic...they need the bosses to spawn in different locations throughout the map after one dies...making it so that Alliance and Horde must cross paths to get to these bosses
Hunter's need some adjustments but really it was other classes that needed adjustment in addition of more stamina. Also some gear reworks and even talent reworks are needed. Such as Druid talents in balance tree required for Omen of Clarity, four points for four precent in physical damage in all forms, they should just make that 2/4/6/8 % to all damage in all forms. Things like that.
The easiest fix to buying/selling gold is to start DELETING accounts. Announce today anyone caught botting, buying or selling gold or anyway associated with it, (trading from one low level to high level toon) will have all accounts, linked to their Battle net, deleted and all subsequent gold deleted from all accounts it comes in contact with. Only then will the penalty be strong enough to convince players to not buy for fear of losing everything they worked on across all games of WoW (might be really bad for some that own retail accounts)....and if they don't care and just keep starting over then bonus for Blizzard on the new subs (until they get caught again)
@@cesarangelsca Blizzard doesn't actually make money on Bots, their accounts, or Gold buying. Botters use either stolen accounts or accounts that have been paid for with stolen credit cards, which get charged back, which costs Blizzard money. Blizzard is actually strongly incentivized to combat Bots as they lost money via player engagement and charge backs. Their strategy is antiquated though. They need to revamp it
The problem with wow Sod is that too little content but a lot of fun with the new runes which I think felt like they had really spent time creating. I think Sod will be super fun after level 60, just hope that blizzard balances dungeons and bosses, otherwise the risk of us players getting too overpowered content will feel to easy? then the game dies. If you read this blizzard increase monster health in dungons and make bosses hard as fuck =))
Punishments for buying? Umm that's been a thing. Sodapoppin even discussed what happened to him when he got caught buying. All gold deleted (across all characters). Idk if true or not, but they possibly locked him out of a raid. I'm sure bans happen with it too, but lighter punishment to him because top streamer.

10 man, 3 day reset raids is bullshit. I hate it, the guild I'm in have 60+ people, with alts. there's litterarly 10+ signups each 3days and I can't stand it. They are balancing dmg out of 10man for the lack of effort it takes and f them for that. It's not fun, cya in p3-p4
