Wow, perfect timing Steven! I am in a really dry climate and had problems growing the mushroom kits in the boxes/plastic bags. I just purchased and set up a mushroom tent. Got a couple of shitake and oyster logs as a present for Christmas. Exciting to finally be able to get some shrooms, hopefully! Keep growing on man!😁😁
I'm glad you are still doing these videos! Been a while
I love your videos on this. You do such a great job explaining everything! 🍄🌱
Thank you!
I have been waiting for your take on mushroom growing, awesome thanks.
I found Honey ring mushrooms all over in the garden. I love them! I also found huge cap mushrooms. Non edible kind, but I’m fine with them both. :)
We're moving to Tennessee this year to scout out our homestead. I can't wait to try this. Thanks for the awesome videos!
How are things progressing for you so far? I love to hear success and in-progress stories😁
Mushrooms are a favorite. What a great idea.
You got me getting ready to do some Mushroom production in the Ozarks! .. keep these great vids coming, one of my favorite YT Channels!
Sweet! Thank you for the awesome info . Def going to try this. I'm on Kauai so I think it will do ok
Oh ya mushrooms would do great in Hawaii!
I've been looking into mushroom growth, thinking that it was a simple process. It looks to be, but I'm so glad that you put out these videos so we know the best practice for the best results. Helps me narrow down what to invest in for great results. ❤❤
Great video Steven! Glad to see you got the angle grinder, that’s the only way to go!
Thanks for sharing this!💚🍄
Awesome tutorial 🙏🏻🙌🏻💙
Hello!
Do you dunk them in water to force the mushrooms? You might not need to.. but it can be controlled this way.
In my climate I don't need to do that thankfully. In a commercial setting I would though.
Interesting, sometimes we don't get much rain in the spring (here in VA) and I soak my logs in a wheelbarrow for 24 hrs to get a perfect batch in 5 days. Of course I end up drying a lot. I did a tour of a farm up in MD and he taught me the tips since my brother sells him the logs. I only have a few logs in my backyard, going to do some more this spring. Red Oak is the best for shiitake mushrooms. White oak is fine. Mushrooms are my favorite thing to grow.
Great video! I live in Nevada could I do this in the shade ?
Also try calling tree services and see if they'll drop-off any largr cuttings they take :)
Brilliant! And because of your comment, I just called the County Road Works...... and .... BINGO!

@@michaelriddick7116 Right on!
Can I do this in Southern California?
This year I added quail, eggs still in incubator. I would like to add mushrooms as well. Do I need to use paraffin or could I use bee's wax?
Ya bee or soy will work too!
@@NaturesAlwaysRight thank you
Do the deer or other animals go at mushrooms??
Hello Steve. Where are the links for the grinder , drill bit and tool to plug?
In the video description. Field and Forest Outdoor Grow Kit bit.ly/346Geh4
@@NaturesAlwaysRight Thanks! Just a quick question, why use an angle grinder and not a regular drill with the special bit attached to it?
Does this work for "special" mushrooms
No, they need a different substrate. However, a Portabella mushroom growing setup would work for specials.
Interesting, what are you going to do with all the mushrooms? Just eat them?
Too much preaching.
