Do I get in counterspell range and save the world? or do I save my best buddy from becoming the eternal servant of the goddess of death? choices choices
often as hell, after his trauma of having to sacrifice his chance to save Vax he created a character with the sole puropse of keeping liams new character alive and then, not so many episodes into that campaign he stays back to fight a god damned dragon more or less on his own to ensure liam and laura get away, consideing to still stay with one god damned hp only leaving after everyone, not even knowing where his health was begged him to leave . . . .
Which I found weird because his last name is literally Seelie, but maybe I don't know enough about the lore of the Feywild and there's a difference between a child of that court and being in their general sphere of influence?
I swear their entire relationship made me kinda swoon because damn it went from hilarious drama to epic tragic romance. Sam and Aabria did such an amazing job
This one decision unironically saved the world. If he had ran, there would be no one to heal Laerynn when she was about to die. If he had gone, they would 100% have failed.
I thought I was biased when I was saying that he was one of my favorite characters cus I'm currently playing as a changeling bard myself, but this scene really confirmed that i really love this character so much aaaaa ;_;
Thank you for including that part of Marisha and Lou cat fighting as they got mind blown. Honestly one of my favorite side-table reactions from the episode. Also love that golden leaves effect! So cool!
I think that is partly why he played Knott in c2 (beyond Liam picking goblin rogue) he wanted to play a low charisma character so he wouldn't steal the show too much :P
Yooo TP! Thanks man! Yeah you're not kidding adding in the SFX and VFX is sometimes super time consuming but it's very fun, especially if I can pull off what I imagine in my head! I have soooo much to learn not just about crafting VFX and just overall editing skills. It's worth it though! =)
This was such a good scene. And his speech a bit later…Calamity was legit amazing from start to finish better than any one shot CR has ever done no offense but this raised the bar more than anyone really thought possible.
I would like to believe that because Bolo was so strong of spirit and desire to become a reporter like Quay that she found her way to safety...forcefully if needed lol. Or even better, seeing that our dear sweet Bolo was a person of such clear intensity, Elmenore opened a portal for her since Quay bailed on his and now she resides in the Feywild as the Warqueen's personal court reporter =p
I think if this show was shown live and Brennan could have seen the immediate reaction to her, she 100% would have been incorporated into the story as an important character/saboteur.
@@Ectharias Well, with her immediate fate up in the air, there is still a chance for her to return in any future Calamity related material, her also hailing from Aeor also is a very nice point of intrigue
I was hoping a bit that he would let Aria go through instead so Quay could know he saved at least one person, but then again the Feywild is also pretty screwy on outsiders.
If you think pushing a tresspassing human through an archfey's portal to land at her feet is "saving" that human, you don't know too much about the archfey lol
I wonder narratively and personally if any of these players would choose to abandon their party at the end of a short campaign. None of these characters are designed to stay together for adventures after, this is their only story. Would the players ever make a choice in that context to go against the party and mess with morale? I certainly don’t think Sam would’ve been able to make any other choice than he did.
Sam: hello I’m ridiculous and always causing trouble!
Also Sam: and now that I have your attention, here’s how I break your heart

@@markamanic that was a low blow. Im crying RN
Anyone else realize HOW MANY TIMES SAM GIVES UP HIS CHARECTERS HAPPINESS TO SAVE OTHERS
Honestly, in this case I don't think he would have been happy after jumping ship. Alive sure, but not happy.

i hope you're having a smiley day
Lou and Marisha just vibing like siblings throughout the entirety of the series has been a huge mood.
Same with Aabria and Travis
I was wondering how much they had interacted since this was Lou’s first time at the table, but they cuddled like old friends the entire time
Travis' quiet, incredulous "You're a child of the Seelie court?" coming from offscreen though. That man was shook.
Which I found weird because his last name is literally Seelie, but maybe I don't know enough about the lore of the Feywild and there's a difference between a child of that court and being in their general sphere of influence?
@@chloer2207I mean irl there are people called Jesus, we don't assume they're the second coming

Lou and Marisha just vogueing on the sidelines is fucking hilarious i love them😂
Strike a pose!
"You choose ruin, and the world" could be the tagline for the entire ring of brass

Well then you're in luck! I got another video set to roll shortly that will cement that thought in your mind for eternity!
I just realized that I too played a changeling bard recently lol

So sorry for the late reply Aozora! You are most welcome and I am glad you like it =)
Don't think we didn't catch that "fey around and find out" Travis you s.o.b
God damn it sam stop breaking our hearts with such powerful moments!

This is a lovely edit, I adore all the little SFX details as I know how much extra effort they require. I love this very much ❤❤

man undeadwood definitely is a close second for me but I agree, this was the best so far.
Better than any campaign honestly. The difference between this table and the main cast is just night and day, it's was incredible
I loved hearing Brennan speak in that accent!
Marisha, Lou and Travis just dancing in pain really gets me.
Did anyone else lowkey hope Quay was gonna be an Artigan origin story. I just kept waiting for " Gone Gone form of man, arise the arch fey Artigan.
I see what you did there
This joke made my day!

Bolo is the Raven Queen.
i want a one shot that's like Bolo's big adventure, like the solo adventure for Appa in Avatar
All for one and all for love . Very nice touch at the end.
Thanks Coll =)
that song you included at the end though! chef's kiss. 💖🧚♂️
Let's make it allllllllll.....all for one......and all for looooooooooove! =)
Brennan: You choose ruin, and the world"
Knight from Indiana Jones 3 Holy Grail: "You choose poorly..."
This was so Aragorn and Arwen coded, and I loved it
Oh man I just caught the "Fey Around and Find Out" between Aabria and Travis. That's amazing.
I was hoping a bit that he would let Aria go through instead so Quay could know he saved at least one person, but then again the Feywild is also pretty screwy on outsiders.
I wanted him and Laerynn to be able to escape there together. 😭
If you think pushing a tresspassing human through an archfey's portal to land at her feet is "saving" that human, you don't know too much about the archfey lol
Plus Laerynn being the final catayst to bring about the Calamity isn't a great mark on you resume for entry lol
@@TheKrou Nope, I don't. Never read the lore nor interacted with fey in a campaign, so those were just my initial thoughts at the time
Sam was really just there to cause emotional damage I swear
Sounds like the beginning of "All for Love" lol
Does it now? =)
It is indeed the tail end of All for Love
And the tears come again !
Perhaps it's best that I only put in the instrumental version of "All for Love" in at the end then huh? =)
Can I have a Mistborn campain with Sam as Breeze?
Oh my gosh. I need this in my life. Travis would work well as Ham, I think.
AAAAAAA
Erika Ishii would be so good as Vin and brennan would be perfect as Elend 😭
EMOTIONAL. DAMAGE. lol
I watched all of this series and the whole time, all I wanted was to hear “I’m Fabian Aramaris Seacaster!”
ahhhh.. soooo good
Much appreciated OC!

Okay but did you edit that portal, because I don’t remember it from their RUclips videos
