- In this video, I will show you how to play Confidence by Ocean Alley (all on one guitar)! This is one of my all-time favorite songs so I had to make a lesson on it when I got the request. I am loving their new album which just dropped yesterday and I hope you guys are too!

Good to see appreciation of Ocean Alley! There is such a great rock scene happening in Sydney at the moment. Other favourite bands: DMA's, Hockey Dad, Gang Of Youths and Angus and Julia Stone.
Yes and I actually have been wanting to do a lesson on Lemonworld as well! Love me some Angus and Julia Stone! Hockey Dad is good too! As an American, it's hard for me to keep track of which cities they are from so I typically just think either Australia or New Zealand just as a whole. That is where all my favorite music is coming from these days and I am super jealous of you guys that get to live over there and see all these amazing bands all the time! I also love the Chats! love the tutorials! another amazing aussie band is 'Sticky Fingers'. Would love to see a tutorial for their song Lazerhead. It is insane and has some awesome guitar parts
Hey Luke! It's funny STIFI is one of my favorite bands and I have rightfully been getting a ton of requests for them. The only thing is, I've already learned a lot of their songs from old RUclips tutorial videos so there's not much on them to cover. They are unique in that most of the tutorial videos for their songs are already really great imo, which is awesome because we can learn them really fast that way! Lazerhead is super catchy though so I'll check it out! Thanks so much for the request Luke!!

Thank you Buzzard! That's really awesome to hear! It's definitely something I put a lot of thought into. I want these lessons to flow, be clear, and be at least somewhat entertaining. I try to make something that even I would want to rewatch back if I forgot how to play a certain song. That's another reason I started this channel actually (I forget tons of songs I used to be able to play). No doubt it takes a whole lot more time but I think it's definitely worth it in the long run!

Liberty Loft Lessons I’ve been listing to Wet Bandits for a couple of months now and I agree I love all their songs. Unfortunately there aren’t any lessons on any of them. Yeah man I’m happy to support a channel that I can really get behind. Keep up the brilliant work.

Guitar is a lot easier than a lot of people realize especially when you start mastering the movable chord shapes! Something you’ll notice about most of these lessons is you can play most songs with just a handful of chord shapes played on different places around the neck! When I realized that I got really inspired and now I make boatloads of lessons based around the same chord shapes ha but most of the time that’s all you really need!!

Great tutorial but the chorus at the start is different to the one you teach just that little bit at the end of the first part I was trying to line them up for ages

Each video takes several hours to learn, teach, and edit the way I like to edit. This wasn't a problem during lockdown/quarantine but it is a bit of a problem today. I now have all the fancy equipment, editing knowledge, and I'm more motivated than I've ever been but I am extremely short on time. I think about it every day because viewers like yourself really mean the world to me and I love the music I cover almost more than life itself!!

Man I cannot believe I missed that part! That's probably the coolest (and most unique) lick imo. You just don't see it all the time. The good news is it's only played one time for the intro. The tab would look like:

Mute the B string but strum the bottom 3 strings. I like to keep my middle finger on the G the whole time. I use my ring finger to fret the 14, 9, and 7 on the high E, only switching to my index finger to fret that 10 on the high E. This would have been much easier to explain on tape and I'm pretty upset that I missed it but thank you so much Kaden for pointing this out! I will pin this comment so everyone can see!
