This has to be the ultimate summer evening drive song.
I am an old guy and 72 years old now and a Vietnam War vet . My grandaughter brought me to this song. This song has such a 1970 vibe when we got back . I just love it

That must be why it gives me the feels. Besides the guitar tones being so warm & sublime. Reminds me of the way I get when i hear It's a Beautiful Morning by the Rascals or early Steve Miller.

So...I lost my uncle Rex in Vietnam in 1970. He was just 19 & I was only a little 4 yo girl. My memories of him are fleeting @ best, but I kno he loved me so much bc he said so in every letter he sent home...
Sir, thank you so much for your service to our country. We owe a debt of gratitude to our vets. The freedoms each & every one of us enjoy today were bought & paid for on the backs of those who came before us, many paying the ultimate price (like my uncle Rex who felt so strongly his duty that he never waited for his draft # & enlisted as soon as he could) & in doing so, made it possible to live our lives as we do today. And shout out to all who took the time to read this!
PS-I think my uncle woulda dug this song too! I kno this bc I'm the one who inherited his most excellent record collection!!

It’s a cold hard truth that we are going to have to collectively face if we ever want things to get better in this country. As long as we continue to believe their lies nothing will ever get better. The FIRST lie we have to wake up to is the fact that the duopoly is actually a MONOPOLY. ALL of their power & control relies on our belief that they’re actually two separate parties who have opposite beliefs. When people finally stop believing that one that will mark the beginning of the end for them & until people finally stop believing that lie specifically nothing will ever get better. That’s the main thing their power & control relies on, our belief in the duopoly. That’s why they have such a fear of a “third” (SECOND!) party & work so hard together to keep that from happening.
