This genre of music usually isn’t my favorite in particular, but this band has something about them. Maybe a tinge of hip hop and soul influence is why I like them? I love Nas, J. Cole, Biggie, Kendrick, Outkast and Pac. This band has me nodding my head just like when I listen to them. As far as rock bands I listen to The White Stripes, The 1975 and The Black Keys. The more I hear Ocean Alley the more I dig them.

The whole band is mint and in incredible sync, but Baden's vocals are just outstanding, especially on Knees and Yellow Mellow.
