I found a use for blue moon/omnislice in conjunction with the active skill element imbues. The omnislice basically insta applies whatever the active skill element you have on it. So you can insert some clever confusion debuffing
Not sure if anyone has pointed this out but reverse impact seems to be a reference to a sword technique from a manga/anime called shigarui: death frenzy where one of the main characters saigen irako who becomes blind and created the technique called mumyo sakamagre or darkness back flow or reverse flow of spiritual darkness where he stabs the ground and later on his foot to gain to use the resistance to swing upward just like the animation when showed in Slo mo
This might be a little more than a year late, but this was an amazing watch. I love Nioh 2 (and 1) so much that I have sunk over 1000 hours in it and have barely scratched the surface. I would tend to think this or that weapon was a little meh in comparison to others, or this or that ability just wasn't very good. I see now how wrong I was. I think my next run will be with a katana. Thank you! P.s. that 360 tiger sprint at the end was 10/10.
Reverse impact is a great guard counter.. you let them hit you and immediately do it and it does good damage and ki damage… it’s dope against humans since I don’t have the best parry skills and the recovery time is a little long but since it’s in low stance you can evade as soon as you get the chance.. also if they opponent is out of ki it’s a great zero ki ability
@@PooferLlama well I still have the base game I am on my second character and never gone to ng+2 yet and beyone is it worth to do it without dlc? I can’t buy anything for a while lol 😂 ( my question is if the cap is higher even without dlc ) 🙏🤣
The movement in low stance is so satisfying.

Very nice find. I didn't even consider Omnislice as an ability to rapidly inflict a status ailment.
bluemoon + omnislice to apply paralysis + sword of meditation

720 sword of meditation lmao. There goes another hundred hours in this game
I hate and respect you for making timely guard look that easy.
think at it not as katana, but as extention of your arm 🗡️🤛
Im struggling with hitting enemies owhen they laying on the ground. Reverse impact looks perfect for that after an izuna drop
You should prerecord these
where does the ark buff come from?
The attack buff is most likely because of "Increase Attack (Winded Enemy)" that I have on my scroll.
I wish I could play with katana in depths, but all my brain could handle is dodging and spammimng xxyy with glaive
hello, how to get more sword skill points, i stuck at 68 points >.< can't get more point
The cap is at level 60. You can get every active skill and every passive by then. Also, make sure you complete the dojo missions on each difficulty.
@@PooferLlama thanks alot sir....
@@PooferLlama do you need the dlc to get more swords skill points Thant 30
@@wowtesbon2863 Yeah, higher weapon proficiency levels are locked to higher NG+ cycles.
