WOW, just finding your channel. This is AMAZING. A whole new world to see. I haven’t watched many international Overlanders, but your channel is an absolute ADD to my roster of regular channels to watch. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@GetOutGO If I may make a suggestion, I would love to see a video of what someone would need, in terms of equipment, vehicle enhancements, to get started off in overlanding. If and when you have the time and inclination, I would love this
Great episode as always Chris! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I have great memories of the same stretch you guys did from Epupa to Shakawe .. but that was around 25 years ago. It's on my "to re-do" list for sure 😄 Can't wait to watch the next episode, go well boet 🍻
A great video, thanks for posting. I did a two week self drive camping safari in Namibia in October 2022. I actually remember seeing your vehicle at Okaukuejo Campsite. I did say hello to Edward Bath. Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪
I really appreciate your relaxed, yet very much to the point narration style. Some really useful information and beautiful footage here too. Thank you!
@@MEDISTATEDURBAN1 the deck was built by a friend of mine that passed away unfortunately. @Ironman4x4Africa did the electrical and they can do other custom work as well www.ironman4x4.co.za
Oh No! You went straight past the Ruacana Falls. I saw on each of your videos now. And it was so close! 2.5km off your route :O You actually saw it on your video. So much bigger and more impressive than Epupa Falls. Next time!
Namibian , and bumped into this video... and subscribed. Love love omarunga river lodge, was once there . Beautiful Namibia 🇳🇦 😊. And well gow did you miss Ruacaba water fall?
Hi Chris thanks for sharing your trips and info with us , just a question about loading a vehicle which is better , tent at back extras on front or other way around?
Thanks Markus! I try to keep as much weight between the axles as possible. In my case the tent is 57kg and pretty much always on where as the jerry cans are around 50kg (full) and only there sometimes so I prefer to have the tent forward.
Welcome! They were fine except for the corrugations between Puros and Palmwag and surprisingly inside Etosha. In the next episode we tackle Hamburger hill, Van Zyl’s and Rooidrom pass though 😉
It wasn't what we expected but this turned out to be a very exciting adventure. Please join me for episode 1 of this 3 part series!
Thanks a mill for the time and effort on this one again Chris. Really enjoy the video with your relaxed presentation style.
