    Hi Harry&Chloe...
Well you have me quite blue having grown up in South West Africa Namibia. Somehow we never ventured south to Sossusvlei, but the coast line north and the Namib and Etosha and the Waterberg are childhood playgrounds for me. So we'll be watching. Hope to see you at Spitzkupfen (Spitskoppe in Afrikaans) and other sweet places grained into my chilhood memory. Safe Travels guys!

Thanks for this episode, but you missed the best time of day, you and anyone reading this, you need to get to the dunes at sunrise and or sunset. Those times are by far the best for photography. Thanks anyway, and all the best for the rest of the trip

Hi there! You are absolutely right. We actually went sunrise mid day and sunset. I think what I wanted to get across that there were no other people there at midday which made it special. But you are absolutely right the lifting sunrise and sunset is something else! So beautiful.

Brother, when a tree has been dead for 900 years, surely the roots are dead as well..... 😂
You have a very nice vlog, but less chitty chatty if you're not knowledgeable about a subject, don't talk about it....
    Vlei = forest.
Dead trees = dead roots 😱😱😱
And I'm only a few minutes into the video, no man...
More homework, and give facts to your viewers...
You've skipped lovely little towns without a glance, missing out on meeting wonderful people and good food, zoom zoom from one side to the other....
I'm just saying, and still subscribed.... but take a minute here and there...
Tips from an old man watching RUclips 😂

Hey there, thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video and for leaving a comment.
We really appreciate your feedback and will of course take this onboard and strive to do better in our future videos.
We are not experts in every field and have never claimed to be, obviously we try our best to share the correct information on our channel. We totally understand where you are coming from.
What was the name of the town we missed?
We share a 10-20 minute video a week therefore not every single place we visit and experience we have is filmed or is included in our videos. It may come across as though we are zooming from place to place but that sure isn’t the case. We also have to be mindful of how long we spend in each country as we do have visa restrictions, if we could visit every single place we totally would.
Again, thank you so much for your comment. We hope you enjoy our future videos.
      Have a great evening!
      Chloe ☺️

Hi @LandyExpedition, I am going to allow myself a comment re the translation of vlei: it is a seasonal shallow pond/lake. So the underground water would have sustained the trees. But that's just a by-the-by. Love your vlogs - love Namibia! All the best!
