Just drove it yesterday in ShangHai. Okay... best Nio vehicle so far bar none. Gosh... I was loss for words after the test drive... the thing is just jaw droppingly gorgeous in person. Even on our test drive I felt like it was turning heads when we were out there. Looped around Nanjing blvd and wished I can take this thing to the track already. Super comfy on the road and refined violence in Sport +. My wife got to try the 0 gravity mode and she wishes we have this in our X5 back home. We love our bimmer but this thing makes it feel dated in all honesty. Nio cars are just full of details when you are up close to it. Ive never seen a tail light like theirs... it makes the car come alive when you unlock it which is such a under rated feature i never seen online. Comparing to ES8 we drove back in 19 this is light years ahead. The speakers, the heads up display

@mrclintf85 Agee with you would prefer a horizontal screen embedded in the console instead of a large pad. Many people feel this would be better but of course NIO and Tesla must have good reason

I would expect people to who drive luxurious cars are very busy people so I expect them to mainly drive the car from point A to point B and that's it. If not then just go for an AR glasses with the car and enjoy a much bigger screen.

Same problem as before, not competitive at price level with regular cars. Luxury cars with a very limited market, especially in the crisis times... Last time I checked they lost 20000 dollars per car, has this changed? Do they really think to take the Ferrari and BMW clients?
Question arises why is NIO offering cars if nobody is buying them if they are too expensive.They are most probably in the price range of Mercedes BWM AUDI but does not hold the same prestige of them and less resale value.
Way too expensive, better than what I have now, but not worth the upgrade imo, I’d rather use the money to buy into nio stock at the very bottom sometime late this year or next year
chinese people love tesla, i think americans will love nio. these cars come with sooo much and make others look bad. feel bad for model y but then it is 15k cheaper soooo

How hard is it to have a screen that can rotate from being vertical to horizontal mechanically?
Those feathers flying in the air stick to the windpipe and cause damage up to cancer. I recommend using a mask in that season
