If Voldemort never made a horcrux and never drank unicorn blood (which leads to half a life) then how long would have Voldemort lived if he had lived a normal life?
At the final duel between harry and Voldemort. Harry uses Draco’s wand which has unicorn hair as core and Voldemort has the elder wand that has the thestral hair as core.
UchihaTV Draco was pressured into it, his father pushed Draco into doing Lucius only believed was right, just because Draco chose to do it doesn’t mean he thought it was right, especially in half blood prince it’s shown that Draco is a good person just doing bad things
Another Difference: The Elder Wand will change it’s loyalty to different wizards/witches. While a wand containing Unicorn Hair will be loyal to its first owner.
Treas1238 That’s because Harry overpowered Draco and won the wand’s loyalty. However in Ron’s and Charlie’s case, Charlie passed down his wand containing unicorn hair to Ron in his first year. That’s why Ron did bad in magic in his first 2 years. Ron didn’t win the loyalty of Charlie’s wand because he simply never overpowered him.
that would be cool, and maybe the unicorn who died in philosophers stone is the thestral that Harry rides to the ministry of magic, to kind of thank him.
Diana Villicana interesting idea 💡. It’d be an interesting connection and explanation considering the wand cores. How unicorn hair is common for wands due to consistency while the threstal hair is the most unpredictable and dangerous of them. If this is indeed true then perhaps when a unicorn dies and becomes a threstral, the magic in the hair becomes extremely volatile. Extremely powerful yet dangerous to oneself.

He was an orphan, scared of trusting people, that what drove Voldy to being who he became. Harry however, learned to love, yes Harry has some evil in him as well, but not that much. Everyone has evil and good in them, even if it is hard to see. You have to dig deep to see it sometimes.

Two other opposites that these two can share is heaven and earth, as well as the afterlife. Unicorns are well known to be guardians of forests, of nature and the life within. They purify water sources to further aid in the quality of life in their domain. Thestrals, with their wings, could represent the skies. Their dark bodies match the truly black color of the skies, the heavens. In many mythologies, a soul ascends to the sky upon death, or they are placed in the sky by a greater power, usually as a constellation. We know that it is a crime to kill a unicorn and drink its blood, cursing the killer, that could represent damnation. And yet the kind Thestrals, which can only be seen after witnessing and accepting death, could stand for peaceful afterlife. Since you mentioned the Thestral hair in the Elder wand, it could stand to reason that the link to the other Hallows, especially the Invisibility cloak, could also have some connection to Thestrals. The cloak could hide the wearer from Death itself and only those who witness death can see the creatures. Could it be possible that there is Thestrals hair sewn into the cloak and that is why it is so powerful compared to other Invisibility cloaks? @@munty.5532 that's not the actual fact, Lily's protection lived through voldermot when he took Harry's blood for recreating his body on the goblet of fire
Not only does Unicorn blood give those who drink it a cursed half life, Unicorns can be vicious. Ollivander reveald that the Unicorn from which he took the hair for Cedric's wand tried to stab him with his horn. Another thing you would expect from the Thestral.
Here's one of my fav theory's. We know that in the tale of the three brothers, deaths main goal was to kill the brothers right? he was pissed because they had cheated him and he wanted to take their lives once and for all. And so he gives the eldest brother the wand, knowing that someone would end up killing him for it. the youngest brother knows what death is up to and takes his invisibility cloak mush to deaths reluctance, so that he can hide from death until he's ready to face him. And the Middle Brother? The Middle Brother was given the resurrection Stone. And what did the stone do It bought back his wife (sort of) and gave the brother such a huge desire to be with her that he ended up taking his own life Pfft. can you imagine? the-sort-of-kind-of appearance of your dead loved one convincing you to go die. hahaha...ha...yeah.... and here's where it gets dark we know that Harry was willing to die for his friends because he's a noble git whose face pops up in the dictionary next to the word "self-sacrifice" the only thing he was missing with the stigmata ( in fact I'm surprised jo didn't put something like that and she wasn't exactly that in she wasnt exactly stuble about it.) anyway we know that he begins walking to The dark forest And though he is determined he also begins to have second thoughts and then he activates the resurrection stone the stone that death intentionally used to kill the second brother and what happens his loved ones appear to him and they look odd (and that's important will come back to that later) and they're totally fine with him dying and even convince him that they're proud of him for what doing what he's doing, that it doesn't hurt, at all and that will be quick. so in conclusion the 4 people who have gone above and beyond multiple times to protect him this child are completely fine with him dying. I meam Lily the woman who jumped in front of her child and demanded to be killed in his place only tells him that he's been brave and doesn't say anything else the women who repeatedly pleaded for harrys life supposedly stand there and just let him go die. yeah that's in character (sarcasm) but of course that's not Lily is it, it's not James, it's not sirius, it's not Remus, I don't even think it was the middle brother's wife I don't think the Resurrection stone brings back your loved ones at all. I think it shows you what ever it can to convince you to die that's why James, Lily, Remus and Sirius were all describe as looking differently than how they had died (as opposed to to sav nearly headless Nick who looks exactly how he looked when he died semi detached head and all) and why the wife of the brother was described as looking / acting odd as well they weren't really there they were basically magical holograms who said what they needed to so that harry wouldnt have any second thoughts as he marched towards death and death. because who greets him that's right death himself ... I mean Dumbledore... No i mean.. No actually there's been this really amazing theory going around for a while now that Dumbledore= death and actually makes a lot of sense especially if you add my theory that Dumbledore intentionally gave harry the resurrection stone so that when he is about to die he would see the magical holograms of his loved ones who would convince him that he was making the right choice that it wouldn't hurt that they were proud of him etc. because we know that Dumbledore wanted harry to die. harry was raised like a pig for slaughter. note: he didn't want harry to be did he just wanted him to go through the action of Dying so that voldermort would be destroyed and so Dumbledore added his little detail to make sure that well the job would get done so in conclusion centuries ago death wanted someone to die he gave the person a stone that made an image (just an image ) of his loved one convince the person that he needed to die. centuries later different death wanted someone to die he gave the person a stone that made images (just images) of his loved ones which convinced said person that he needed to die.
badass hurndell This is quite well-thought-out, but there's one huge problem with that theory: It would only make sense if the tale of the Three Brothers wasn't just a fairytale; the characters in the book repeatedly mention that the story is obviously just a mythicalization of the achievements of the Peverells ;)
I'm in agreement with the resurrection stone theory but the theory that Dumbledore= Death is far fetched. Dumbledore knew that Harry wouldn't actually die if Voldemort himself cast the death curse on him.
This is a great theory but in the Dumbledore part, Dumbledore knew that as long as the Blood protection lives (and that is on Voldemort who used Harry's blood in Goblet of fire), Harry will survive. And also, the woman Cadmus (the second brother) saw using the resurrection stone was his Fiance.
That was a great video thankssss I actually do agree on the fact they these two creatures can be the Yin and Yang of the wizarding world, and I also think that it represents the fact that everyone has dark inside of them, no matter how pure they can be. And on the other hand, no one is fully heartless and evil, we all have good inside of us. “We’ve all got both *light* and *dark* inside us”. Just like Unicorns and Thestrals. Again, thank you so much I love the video♥️♥️♥️
@Sweet Cheeks Lily was friends with snape because she LIKED him. He was genuinely nice to her even though she was muggleborn. Yes, he blew it when he called her a mudblood, but she really wanted him to apologize. She just gave up when he didn't. If he hadn't let James and Sirius's bullying define him, he probably wouldn't have gone to the death eaters and would have stayed friends with Lily maybe more... Basically, he screwed up, but Lily defiantly had the capacity to choose him if he hadn't pushed her away.
The Thestral is my patronus and it fits my personality perfectly, i was considered an outcast before and sometimes even today, they are caring even tho they look scary or “different” and instead of representing death they represent guardian angels, and i love that about them. They are also associated with creativity. Its an extremely strong patronus as it will defend you from deathly situations, again like a guardian angel.💛
You should do a video on the history/origins of Ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry. Jo (Rowling) did a whole history about it at Pottermore and I think all of us would trust you to do a brilliant explanation and walkthrough of the founders and how the school was built. It really is quite interesting and I think you would have fun as well making the video. Plus most people don’t know about the school because it is the North American school and wizards are all around the world. All info you need on it is at Pottermore, and I hope you consider this. Like this comment if you guys want this video too!! Absolutely brilliant channel you have going here and I’ve watched all your Harry Potter videos at least twice haha.
I just thought of something. You said that if one thing leaves (dies) another one appears. What if when someone dies a thestral is born with their personality and if someone is conceived a unicorn is born with that person’s personality? It would make sense since babies almost always stick with their mother until they’re a certain age, reflecting how unicorns prefer a woman’s touch, and once someone is old and then dies they’ll have most likely met and seen dozens of people in their life, reflecting the thestrals’ pack behaviour. It’s a strange and small theory, but I still wanted to share my thoughts.
Ohmagod! Soo good! I’ve been watching you for quite a while and you have gotten to be such a great contributor to the Harry Potter! You have been so helpful to be deciphering the many secrecies of the Harry Potter series, and it’s really helped!
Another AMAZING video! You are the best HP channel on RUclips. You explain everything soooo clearly and make me think a lot more about the wizarding world! Keep on making your AMAZING videos!
I love how you use the right name for The Philosopher’s Stone! Awesome video. :)) I can’t fall asleep without watching one of you or Harry Potter Folklore’s Video ! :)))
I always thought Harry can see the Thestrals because he saw his parents died in front of him when he was an infant. But maybe that didn’t count because he didn’t remember.
Harry was too young to understand the concept of death when his parents died. You have to see AND process death to see Thestrals. That's why Harry couldn't see them until he saw Cedric die in front of him.
All other Harry Potter videos and theories are boring but you actually get me entertained in you’re videos and because of you I started understanding everything when I read the books and watched the movies
Wouldn’t Harry be able to see the thestrals in his first year to his 7th coz he saw his parents die didn’t he?? Also thestrals are black and have white eyes which represents the unicorn (yang) in him
Months late but I'm gonna put my two cents in. Perhaps it has something to do with comprehending death. A one-year-old has no ability to comprehend the death of his parents, even if it happens right in front of him. Witnessing death does not necessarily limited to seeing someone's death, but it includes the ability to comprehend the loss of life that happens during death.
In the first year, the students go to hogwarts by boats, so he hasn't yet seen thestral. Meanwhile, they are delivered by carriage on the fifth year of school
First years are delivered by a boat apart from Fifth years which are delivered by Thestral carriages. And also, Harry wouldn't be able to process his parents death yet that time because he's too little. To see Thestrals, not only you have to witness death, you also have to understand death.
Could you do a video called “Veela’s Explained” because that would be amazing. I love ur channel so much and it would make my day if you did the video. 💕💕💕💕💕

Thestral are honestly one of my favourite Harry Potter Creature. I originally liked unicorns more but then I thought for a while. Unicorns are like pampered little princes and they are beautiful, solo and has most attention. Thestrals are together and gentle. They are treated brutally but they are still kind on the inside. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover 📕
Can you please do a video on the Weasley twins I mean you did one on Ginny and one basically on Ron and they where not the biggest part but a decent sized part of the Harry Potter series and I really do LOVE videos 💞💖 -Emmy
I cant get enough of ur videos never have I ever wanted to watch a video so much then I want to watch one of ur. u truly r a great storyteller and u really no how to captivate ur audiences attention
If Lily Potter put herself in front of Harry, Harry on the otherside should've seen his Mother being killed, which means...Harry could already see Thestrals...well if he went to the right place🙃
I also thought about this when Thestrals or Unicorns are mentioned. I've dabbled ins studying Taoism and Lao Tzu's teachings and a lot of what is shown with Unicorns and Thestrals share vast similarities to Taoism and what Lao Tzu talked about in the Tao Te Ching, how everything is a cycle through this paradigm throughout our existence, and how to flow with this cycle throughout life. It would be interesting if J.K. Rowling made a wizard version of Lao Tzu and taught these lessons in the Eastern part of the Wizarding World. Thank you for making a video on this!

And so he gives the eldest brother the wand, knowing that someone would end up killing him for it. the youngest brother knows what death is up to and takes his invisibility cloak mush to deaths reluctance,
so that he can hide from death until he's ready to face him. And the Middle Brother? The Middle Brother was given the resurrection Stone.
And what did the stone do
It bought back his wife (sort of) and gave the brother such a huge desire to be with her that he ended up taking his own life
Pfft. can you imagine? the-sort-of-kind-of appearance of your dead loved one convincing you to go die.
hahaha...ha...yeah....
and here's where it gets dark we know that Harry was willing to die for his friends because he's a noble git whose face pops up in the dictionary next to the word "self-sacrifice" the only thing he was missing with the stigmata ( in fact I'm surprised jo didn't put something like that and she wasn't exactly that in she wasnt exactly stuble about it.)
anyway we know that he begins walking to The dark forest And though he is determined he also begins to have second thoughts and then he activates the resurrection stone the stone that death intentionally used to kill the second brother and what happens his loved ones appear to him and they look odd (and that's important will come back to that later) and they're totally fine with him dying and even convince him that they're proud of him for what doing what he's doing, that it doesn't hurt, at all and that will be quick.
so in conclusion the 4 people who have gone above and beyond multiple times to protect him this child are completely fine with him dying. I meam Lily the woman who jumped in front of her child and demanded to be killed in his place only tells him that he's been brave and doesn't say anything else the women who repeatedly pleaded for harrys life supposedly stand there and just let him go die.
yeah that's in character (sarcasm)
but of course that's not Lily is it, it's not James, it's not sirius, it's not Remus,
I don't even think it was the middle brother's wife I don't think the Resurrection stone brings back your loved ones at all. I think it shows you what ever it can to convince you to die that's why James, Lily, Remus and Sirius were all describe as looking differently than how they had died (as opposed to to sav nearly headless Nick who looks exactly how he looked when he died semi detached head and all) and why the wife of the brother was described as looking / acting odd as well they weren't really there they were basically magical holograms who said what they needed to so that harry wouldnt have any second thoughts as he marched towards death and death. because who greets him that's right death himself
Dumbledore knew if Harry willingly gave himself up to Voldemort to die, the horcrux would perish as it is a part of Voldie (who's terrified of death).
That is a very great theory
This is a great theory but in the Dumbledore part, Dumbledore knew that as long as the Blood protection lives (and that is on Voldemort who used Harry's blood in Goblet of fire), Harry will survive. And also, the woman Cadmus (the second brother) saw using the resurrection stone was his Fiance.
do something about having thestral having as a patronus
Thestral is my patrons so I would love too see that
Thestral is my patronus aswell :)
Same here woohoo
thestral is my patronus! I took the test eight times and got thestral three times UwU
that would be interesting because your patronus is what kind of animal you`d become if you became an animagus
Thestrals freak me out but, I still think there interesting. I love your calm voice and your editing is spot on! Keep up the good work!
itsyaboy Max my Patronus is a thestral so ya
They’re*
Been a fan since you restarted this page and easily my favorite video you’ve done. Keep up the good work.
0:28 omg the literal representation of thestrals and unicorns luna looks so pure and harry looks scarred
I thought Yin was seen as Feminine
And Yang was seen as Masculine
Mirora 221 he said that
I watched a drama where the male lead's name was "yangyang" and female lead was Yin yin.
@@Jamilajahankhushbu what the FU-
@@Jamilajahankhushbu hi armyyyyyyy
6:30 That’s hermiones wand though, it has a Dragon Heartstring core
6:29 did anyone notice that that is Hermione’s wand which has dragon heartstring
Thestrals have white eyes and unicorns have black eyes in the picture, like the yin and yang symbol😗
That was a great video thankssss
I actually do agree on the fact they these two creatures can be the Yin and Yang of the wizarding world, and I also think that it represents the fact that everyone has dark inside of them, no matter how pure they can be. And on the other hand, no one is fully heartless and evil, we all have good inside of us.
“We’ve all got both *light* and *dark* inside us”. Just like Unicorns and Thestrals.
Again, thank you so much I love the video♥️♥️♥️
Actually no Voldemort does he let harry finish his school year before killing him each time so he obviously cares about Harry's education
Nocreeperzone 15 he doesn’t, he just can’t break into Hogwarts and he’s afraid of Dumbledore
Reem Slim I was just joking I know he can't get into Hogwarts
Do more theories if you enjoy making them because we definitely enjoy watching them
Make a video on why Lilly choose James over snape
shubham bandewar I second this
She thought Snape was turning to the dark arts. And James was mature enough
I dont think JK ever intended to answer these questions.
@Sweet Cheeks can u stop?
4:53 - this is the opposite to how it works in Robert Jordan's "the wheel of time" book series ;)
so?
The Thestral is my patronus and it fits my personality perfectly, i was considered an outcast before and sometimes even today, they are caring even tho they look scary or “different” and instead of representing death they represent guardian angels, and i love that about them. They are also associated with creativity. Its an extremely strong patronus as it will defend you from deathly situations, again like a guardian angel.💛
Great theory video hope to see more in the future
Wampus is my ilvermony house
I LOVE the thestrals and unicorns because I LOVE horses so much so anything that resembles them, I fall in love!
Another AMAZING video! You are the best HP channel on RUclips. You explain everything soooo clearly and make me think a lot more about the wizarding world! Keep on making your AMAZING videos!
Thesterals would be my choise, i would be Autor in HP world. Good smart partners, loyal and combat orianted.
The only Harry Potter explanation videos I watch are yours because they are so,amazing!!
05:30 reminds me when my mom compares me to my sis
My condolences.
I love how you use the right name for The Philosopher’s Stone!
Awesome video. :))
I can’t fall asleep without watching one of you or Harry Potter Folklore’s Video !
Congrats on 300k !
lotta love and support !
Next Goal 500K...
Could you do a video called “Veela’s Explained” because that would be amazing. I love ur channel so much and it would make my day if you did the video. 💕💕💕💕💕
You really have a great talent. I cannot tell you how much I look forward to these videos. Thank you!!
Your videos rocks buddy love them
Who else wants a thestral as a pet (without needing to process death)
My patronus is a Thestral!!!
I love your videos relating to harry potter- your voice is soothing and quality content
Please do a “all the animals from Harry Potter” video
Never stop doing HP videos! Incredible as always.
Fantastic video as always!
The content you make is perfect
This theory is well studied showing something both Amazing and new
Making a theory you could actually believe exist rather than write a Whole book of nonsense(cursed child) to earn money from franchise
Congratulations Morgan on making brilliant content that deserves on going viral keep the good work and videos
Could you imagine how incredible a wand with both unicorn and Thestral hair at its core would be and it makes sense that both creatures represent the good and evil side JK rolling is brilliant to introduce that symbolism into this wonderful world
Wasn't it said somewhere that other wand core substances are able to coexist in a wand with unicorn hair?
Quick note when you we’re talking about the unicorn hair as a wand core you put up Hermionys wand which was dragon heartstring
I won't watch any other Harry Potter video.unless they are yours.
Thanks *movie flame* for such a nice explanation .

That’s why Draco’s was easily won over.
Omg that says so much because Draco’s wand’s core is unicorn hair
I love you vids I been here since 50 k
Thestral are honestly one of my favourite Harry Potter Creature.
I originally liked unicorns more but then I thought for a while.
Unicorns are like pampered little princes and they are beautiful, solo and has most attention.
Thestrals are together and gentle. They are treated brutally but they are still kind on the inside.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover 📕
Can you please do a video on the Weasley twins I mean you did one on Ginny and one basically on Ron and they where not the biggest part but a decent sized part of the Harry Potter series and I really do LOVE videos 💞💖
-Emmy
EJ Bice agree I would like to see a video on the Weasley Twins
Oh i do love fred and goerge. They're funny and brave.
Awesome video! Plus I LOVE the music you used! ❤️
Oh gosh I’m just 1 second into the video and I already love and believe in this video
I cant get enough of ur videos never have I ever wanted to watch a video so much then I want to watch one of ur. u truly r a great storyteller and u really no how to captivate ur audiences attention
Was there ever a Wand created with both creatures hairs? How powerful would that be?
Kecta Probably Incredibly If wielded properly.
Woah. That would be too unimaginable to comprehend its power.
That's impossible. You can only use one for a wand core.
Impresive video! I'm amazed by the quality of ur video and the effort u put ino them!
I just realised something the whole weasley family along with Hermione can see thetrals after the Deathlys Hallows Part 2 due to Fred's death right
Dude, you should keep making harry potter videos, i was waiting for it for so long my man hahaha
I think thestrals are beatiful and magnificent. They don't look that terrifying
I have a lego Thestrel and it's absolutely adorable
also, in the final battle, harry uses draco's wand (unicor hair core) and Voldemort uses the elder wand (thestral hair core)
Sooo much better than Harry Potter Folklore 😊
U cant say that.. both are equally nice
Ritika Krishnan Why can't I say that? It is my opinion and I have every right to tell my opinion
This is truly amazing! I love your channel.
This Is so True!
I loved this video just like the others! You deserve more likes and subscribers! Your videos are always so awsome!
I’m curious if Draco could see threstrals
Frosty Wolf I’m sure everyone could by the end of the war
He saw charity burbage being murdered and eaten so yeah
Great Theory Video! It was very good quality and it shows how much work you did to make it!
This is true, I can confirm.
Can you please do a video on the similarities and difference of the magic in the wands and potions.
I think this seems true :3
Outstanding.Morgan. You've done it again! Awesome video 👐👌👌👌❤
If Lily Potter put herself in front of Harry, Harry on the otherside should've seen his Mother being killed, which means...Harry could already see Thestrals...well if he went to the right place🙃
No he was too young to understand and process it, so he only could see them after Cedrics death
Loved this theory video! I know there’s hundreds HP theory videos but can you do more?!?! Please!
I want a threstal as a pet :(
I also thought about this when Thestrals or Unicorns are mentioned.
