It is interesting how Neville and Harry's lives were still so paralleled. They both lost their parents because of that prophecy neither growing up with a healthy parental figure and their first real place of acceptance came from Hogwarts.

Peter Pettigrew was basically sitting there as well so the first one to rise was Dumbledore and he later was also the first one to die. Also 16:25 when Trelawney says that Harry was born in mid-winter.. maybe she was unknowingly referring to the part of Voldemort's soul that lived in Harry as Voldemort was in fact born at the end of December.
Professor Trelawney is "unusually" important in the HP series. Let's face it! She is much more than that messy-hair lady who yells "open your eyes, see the future" in Divination classes. I’ve always thought it’s very odd that so many witches and wizards don’t believe in divination. It’s a magical ability just like so many others like legilimancy, the ability to read other people’s mind. It’s not a spell or potion but a gift. It’s especially curious that Hermione doesn’t believe in it…she is the one that knows about time traveling and uses a time turner…afterall what is a prediction of the future but time traveling in a sense but with the mind. I believe that this had to be that way for the sake of the story to continue in the books and movies Bc otherwise they could just use divination and such to find out more about the future ect and where is the excitement and action with that lol
I think most of them believe and accept seeing the future is possible in theory, they are just very skeptical of people who say they can since its a rare ability and easy to fake. But yea i agree ita probably mostly for plot because its an OP power.
I guess divination and time turners muddle each other out, so if you possess a time turner and use it constantly. The outcome is that any divination you make will be murky.
Trelawney was right about the first to stand up thing. Sirius Black was the first to rise from the table and he died. Dumbledore was the first to rise from the table and he died. I counted the total number of people in both tables and both had 13 people sitting down at the table
She was the one who basically started the whole Harry potter story from the start, Without her, The Potters prob wouldn't died, Voldemort took over and done
Could you do one on Myrtle Warren? She's so underrated as a character and actually is quite relatable for girls and boys who have been bullied and tormented because of what you look like. ;-; I know it'll be hard as not much information is on her. Honestly, I'd write Myrtle's backstory if I had to. 😂😂
Trelawney is definitely one of my favorite characters. She’s quirky, mysterious, and basically always correct. OH BOY WAS I HAPPY WHEN SHE WAS RIGHT ABOUT UMBRIDGE >:D
Trelani’s prediction about Harry being born midwinter was actually correct. She wasn’t reading Harry soul she was reading Voldemort’s and he was born in the middle of December
Wasn't Lavender's death only movie canon? As I remembered it in the book, she fell off somewhere and landed on the ground, Greyback then came racing to bite her which led to Hermione blasting him and Trelawney smashing a crystal ball on his head. Afterwards, Lavender was said to be feebly stirring and nothing indicates that she died. Especially since it reads like Greyback didn't even have the chance to attack her.
Morgan you definitely need to make a video on HP characters in book versus movie. People need to know how they screwed up all the main characters, particularly Ron and Ginny.
the one where she said 13 were sitting at a table. Peter pettigrew was actually with ron and dumbledore stood up to invite her to the table. and u know he died first
I've long thought of Trelawney as a troubled and misunderstood genius character, since she made at least one correct prediction with the lightning struck tower. But reading these comments I'm realizing it goes even deeper than that. She made a lot of correct predictions, but just like her ancestor's namesake, no one ever took her seriously. Not even she herself.

Well, first of all, Sybill was named after the Sybilline books of ancient Rome, where had all prophecies in them. She may be based off Delphi, the spirit whom has the gift of foresight and prophecies. (Gifted by the God Apollo of prophecies) it is very interesting how many ties the Wizarding world has with ancient Greece and Rome, I encourage you to look into it more.
Love your content. Even though I am 61, I really wish with all my heart that magical world was real and I was a part of it. So the details you present are really interesting to me. Thank you
I click the like button on Morgan's videos as soon as they start playing.
Same
Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light
Thank you!!!!!!! I love Sybill Trelawney and I always thought she was underrated thank you for this!
Also, Mcgonagall might have not been great friends in the past but when she needed it Minerva had Sybills back and comforted her when Umbridge dimissed her.
I cant help feel sad when sybill crys or frowns, also Her eyes are very pretty though she kinds looks like a bug,and in my opinion if I had her as a teacher I would be so happy cause she’s nice of coorse shes made mistakes but who hasn’t! This brings a whole new meaning to
The prettiest eyes cry the most tears
The prettiest smiles hide the most secrets
And the kindest hearts felt the most pain
Can you explain what happened to Kreacher after the books/movies please? i've been wondering about this for so long
Didn’t he work in hogwarts kitchens?
I think he became the house elf for the Potters.
I imagine him fretting over Albus Severus forgetting his books. 😂
Another great video as always! Thank you for this, Morgan. Love your channel
Trelawney is a favorite HP character of mine, I've spent many a Halloween cosplaying as she, granting predictions for my trick-or-treaters. 🎃🔮🤭
I love this Character, so I’ve been waiting for this video
Been waiting for a new harry potter character video thanks for the video morgan❤❤Love the video everything is so detailed👍👍
Let's appreciate how generous the actor playing the character was with her talent.
Could you maybe do a video on all the people who can see thestrals and who's death they witnessed?! Thanks:)
Love your videos, but I miss your fan film reactions. Could you do Neville Longbottom and the black witch?
Trelawney was right about the first to stand up thing. Sirius Black was the first to rise from the table and he died. Dumbledore was the first to rise from the table and he died. I counted the total number of people in both tables and both had 13 people sitting down at the table
I absolutely love your videos and the amount of effort you put into them is astounding!
She was the one who basically started the whole Harry potter story from the start, Without her, The Potters prob wouldn't died, Voldemort took over and done
I love that Minerva stood up to unbridge for Sybil 🥰
I thought Sybill was annoying in the movies. Now i just think shes very spiritual and cool and kinda sad
Oh she was spiritual allright XD
Could you do one on Myrtle Warren?
She's so underrated as a character and actually is quite relatable for girls and boys who have been bullied and tormented because of what you look like. ;-;
I know it'll be hard as not much information is on her.
Honestly, I'd write Myrtle's backstory if I had to. 😂😂
Bro ur channel literally deserve wayyyyy more, ur too good
Nothin better than a freshly baked movie flame video 🔥🔥
That was my favourite part of the third book mcgonnigal saying that
Trelawney is definitely one of my favorite characters. She’s quirky, mysterious, and basically always correct.
OH BOY WAS I HAPPY WHEN SHE WAS RIGHT ABOUT UMBRIDGE >:D
I love these Harry Potter ones keep making more please your the best
Again a very good video my friend you really do these videos justice I mean that
Trelani’s prediction about Harry being born midwinter was actually correct.
Great video MovieFlame!
As I sat myself in front of the Almighty orb last night and gazed into its crystalline depths, I saw movieflame prepare to upload this
I love these vids!! Keep it up man
I've been waiting for this!!!
ok but the way emma thompson pulled of sybill and then years later did baroness from cruella is RANGE
She so sweet and underated and very mistreted
Hey, man thanks for all the research. Hope you have a great day.
Trelawney is honestly one of my favorite characters. It’s about time I get to know her backstory. I feel like she’s a lot like me.
I'm actually shocked at how much her story has affected me, I'm not crying... you are crying! Excellent story telling!
Morgan you definitely need to make a video on HP characters in book versus movie. People need to know how they screwed up all the main characters, particularly Ron and Ginny.
Love the content
we all do
Yeah, he is really talented
@@skarpevindkast yes
geminio glitch?!?!
Love your channel
Great video as always!
the one where she said 13 were sitting at a table. Peter pettigrew was actually with ron and dumbledore stood up to invite her to the table. and u know he died first
Professor trelawny is the last character I expected movieflame make a video on. I wasn’t expecting this.
squid game(trelawny version): Please stop!!!! We will all have the grim!!! I'm scared
Yeah, she definitely didn’t seem to adore Sybil, seeming annoyed with her during the Christmas dinner in POA. But She did stand up for her in OOTP
Great video bro
I've long thought of Trelawney as a troubled and misunderstood genius character, since she made at least one correct prediction with the lightning struck tower. But reading these comments I'm realizing it goes even deeper than that. She made a lot of correct predictions, but just like her ancestor's namesake, no one ever took her seriously. Not even she herself.
The books were better tralauny was ignored by the movies and my potterheads finally someone appreciated her
Did you know that Sybil in Greek means a prophetess and also There was an oracle of Apollo named herophile though we know that her last name is trelawney
Yoooo thank u for saying sybil did not get enough credit in the movies!!
I've been binging these videos, great content and adds even more to a great series
I love your content
Trelawney : wait … wait , I see something dark . You are in great danger.
Fans be like : this the moment we all have been waiting for 🤣🤣🤣 .
This is one the best scenes
Fun fact : my birthday is on March 9th same as trelawney.
Cool
Dumbledore’s entrance and defending Trelawney from that evil toad Umbridge remains one of my favourite moments of the series and a badass moment in general
probably my favorite character in the hp series
