One thing I find really alluring about this particular mix is the way the synth leads and pads harmonise with Karl's vocals, giving them a dramatically different "vibe" to the final mix, even though it's the same vocal recording. I wonder why they chose to excise those synth parts for the album version? Thank the universe for Underworld. Their music legitimately changed my life!
