fantastic. i have played the chapman stick on smv 375, smv 379 and miniatur 5. we recorded reel-to-reel in mono with a revox b77 and following the fact that in 1985 i was 18 ys old and kind of impatient, there were minor faults in timing i llike to apologize now. the base of all tracks was composed, played, programmed and recorded by peter himself using a ppg wave 2.2 and an oberheim dmx (if i remember correctly). thanks for the upload, i'm lucky to own still a physical copy of that record.

Wow! This is some weird and great art, hidden under layers and layers and more layers. Almost like James Joyce in parts. Very skilled and detailed use of sampling, panning and narrative with loads of textural variety. With some really nice consonant interludes and beats to break things up. Love it. Please post more!

Several months back I ordered a CD lot off of eBay that contained 40 lesser known or harder to find electronic albums. This was in there. I knew nothing about it and immediately fell in love upon first listen. I could only find only one interview with David Reeves. No other information. No pictures. It gives me the feeling of when I was younger discovering more obscure sounds. All I have is the album and my own imagination, which this music makes run rampant.

I seem to be a rarity in that I love the techno Underworld of the 90s and beyond but also love the synthpop era of the 80s. Would love an album release of the stuff they’d written for a shelved third album I guess around 1990/91.

I'm shocked at this video's incredibly rapid popularity - did somebody post this on a blog or review it for a podcast or something? Whatever it is, I'm intrigued! 🧐 Thanks for listening, commenting and subscribing! 😁 If anyone knows anything about this album, please leave a comment; I couldn't even find any cover art for it - the thumbnail is simply Yukio Yung's picture from his last.fm profile! A very esoteric release by a decidedly hermetic musician; he does have some other albums but I've never been able to track them down. 😢 EDIT: I just discovered that "Yukio Yung" is actually the pseudonym of the prolific cult author Terry Burrows, chiefly known for his works on the subjects of musical history and musical theory, as well as more general works apropos modern history and popular psychology.
