- Halloween of 2019 called for a rough surgery in order to kick thyroid cancers butt! I had a total thyroidectomy with a complete central and left lymph node removal. Everything with surgery went GREAT! By day three, my body had other plans. I wasn't adjusting well to my new life and medications and had quite the episode of faintness, feeling weak, along with nausea and vomiting. The last few days have been a blur but I am happy to say that I am feeling better with each passing hour at this point. Ready for normal again!

I had this same thing, Total thyroidectomy, right radical neck dissection, and central neck dissection last year. I was 16, and it was a horrible surgery definitely worse than they prepare you for, but I’m okay now. Glad to see you sharing a story for people to relate to!
I am in love with tour candy corn blankey 🧡💛🧡💛🧡
Hope your recovery gets better. Sending positive thoughts your way.
TY for making this video. I’m next on the chopping block. I’m really frightened of the future. Your video has me in tears and I guess, if you’ve done this, I can too.
Hi Brooke - I'm a friend of Cindy's and she's shared your story with us, her GOJ friends. You'll have to ask her why we call ourselves the GOJ's - LOL! Our group has been getting updates from Cindy and also following your youtube page. You have a lot of prayers coming your way from us. You have been through a tough ordeal and from watching you and listening to your youtube you are a very strong and positive woman. Stay strong Brooke!
Bless your heart, Brooke! You have been through so much these past few days. Each day you should feel better now. I pray you feel better soon. BTW, you still look beautiful and I am sending you lots of love ❤️💕
You look great, I haven’t worn makeup for 10 years haha. Good news on the parathyroid glands. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Thank you for the update!
Sorry that your going through all of this. It will get better. Thanks for your updates, even though you probably don't feel like posting.. Take care.. Greetings from Northern Canada .
Hang in there. Like the doctor said, you'll feel much better by the end of the week. Surgery is a traumatic experience, so your pain, while being bad, isn't unusual. You have my prayers and I'm sure you will be fine. Thanks for the update.
Oh my gosh, glad you have that over with. 7 hours is a very long time for surgery. That first shower is always the best! It’s like washing the whole situation away 😉 Glad your Doctor feels pleased with the way things went, that’s promising. Progress toward your recovery. Take good care of yourself.❤️
Sending prayers ur way 4 ur prompt recovery, GOD bless u, I’m going on surgery on Friday , ur videos are very helpful 2 me, keep positive 🙏🏻🌹
Thank you so much for sharing this. I just had a really similar surgery and was so concerned about whether my symptoms after were normal. Hearing and seeing this helped reassure me so much! THANK YOU!

I know how you feel, had my thyroid taken out and it's still a struggle trying to get my levels stable and it's been about 5 yrs. 🤦
Omg really???I'm scheduled for surgery soon with hope that my symptoms will go away because they can't seem to get my levels under control for 15yrs so that's why I opt for surgery
