My cancer moved outside of my thyroid too:( im so scared.

How is your voice so normal!??? My voice is so awful:( it changed and I can't sing anymore and it's breaking my heart 😭😭 the recovery was horrible for me too. I think they damaged my vocal cords nerve but they won't listen to me! I have ONE tone in my voice and sound like a 90 year old smoker and it's terrible. I'm so tired all the time I'm still in pain and don't know what to do! I had the same cancer on one side as u and a different cancer on the other side I can't remember what it was called.

I'm so scared I have kidney cancer and it spread to my thyroid sucks 😔

Facing this surgery Monday 30th September. Appreciate the realism, thank you. I am 71 so I guess if it’s giving you a rough time, I can plan on at least that much pain, discomfort. Never really had a major surgery. Total thyroidectomy with central and right nodes.

Wow. Yes, you HAVE encouraged me. Mostly as a fellow Christian. I’m 52, will be turning 53 in about ten days and just had my first FNA today. Boy did that hurt. I’m a big baby when it comes to needles. I hope your journey goes smoothly and ends positively. Lots of love, prayers, and hugs your way! 🙏🏻

Hey Brooke! Just stumbled upon your video. I am 2 weeks post-op myself from total thyroidectomy w central node dissection. I hope you're doing well, i know im quite late to the video being posted, but I empathize and I wish you nothing but the best.

So sorry about your illness Brooke. Thyroidectomy is no joke but the stiffness, swelling and pain gets better day by day. I had a bad time trying to get my head comfortable enough on the pillow to sleep. I wish you well and sending prayers for you.

I am 6 days post op. No cancer thank The Lord. But I had a partial thyroid removal back in 1988. And now I had this goiter for 36 years. Long time. So they did a complete thyroidectomy. It was 4.9 cm. Growing to my shoulder on my right side. So it was hard to swallow. I’m losing my hair but they think it’s from female pattern baldness 🤷🏼‍♀️. Who knows. I wish you the best girl. I just watched your video i myself had thyroid cancer and thyroidectomy but my cancer didn't spread so i didn't need the pill. I hope you had a excellent surgery and God bless.❤ I been five years cancer free.

Any updates from Brooke? I found her videos a few weeks ago, after I found out I need a thyroidectomy. I can’t find anything more recent and just hope she’s so busy enjoying life that she hasn’t posted. Prayers to everyone battling cancer 🙏.
