Shows how long you have been planning this channel, it has only been around for a few months but had content for at least 2 years backed up
But as a boat owner I can attest it’s possible to have this many problems this quickly 😂

is this ChrisFix?
Boat's and holes do not mix!
Had no idea this was done 2 years ago! Great planning on your end!
They definitely do not!
Remove the L in "holes" and remove "not" and we got a good summer party

@@Josher126 Let's be step bros then lol
Honestly I don’t have a boat but I really enjoy seeing you fix anything. It brings me a lot of joy. Thank you.
Glad you enjoy it!
@@chrisfished Can’t wait until we get an auction boat rebuild series 😜
yeah, same here. I know nothing about boats, but I'd watch Chris do just about anything 😁
❤
Not a fishing fan but a boat fan but most of all a chrisfix fan :)) congrats on the 2 years test, goes to show the level of planning! Stay safe!
Thanks!
I love the fact you did an update on the boat 2 years later after the repair, love the dedication to your videos!
Thanks man! I like to prove that what you see actually works!
@@chrisfished I'm impressed you managed to sit on the footage that long....
11:32 I didn't expect that. The amount of dedication you put in your videos is insane. Even though I don't have a boat and I'm not planning getting one, I still enjoy every video of yours. Great job Chris!
Thanks a lot!!!
A 12 minute video, 2 years in the making.
That's some serious dedication.
Thank you Chris.
ChrisFish is a man of focus, commitment and sheer will. He once tested a repair for 2 years before uploading the video.
I wasn’t expecting you to jump a whole two years later, thank you for another great video!
Thanks!
The two years later was one of the best twists i have seen in a video in a long time
Haha I was working on this for a long time to prove it’s a solid repair!
I never realised the deep knowledge and skills you have with cars would translate into marine work. It's palpable you've got a logic and skillset that's transferable across multiple industries. Really impressive, Chris.
Thanks a lot Arron!
That's dedication right there! Not only showing proof after 2 years of repair but also showing step by step what to do for the fix.
Well done Chris!
Thanks a lot
That “2 years later” part was so unexpected and increased my respect for this video and added a lot of credibility to what you did. I don’t even have a boat though 😁
Thanks a lot! You might not have a boat but you can still apply the concept to other stuff.
I watch your videos of things I will never ever do. Fill a whole in a boat I imagine is something that 90% of your viewers will never do, yet we watch anyway because you're the best. RUclips is a magical thing .
Thanks David and you never know!
@@chrisfished Very true ! And did I really spell it "whole".. I must have spelled that under wodder.
This guy gives the best and most complete and accurate descriptions of how to do a job and how to do it properly. Are used to watch his works without automobiles, but this description on dealing with below waterline holes in a boat hole is excellent. He handles factors that most of the other videos on the same subject completely skip. He uses accurate words and grammar in all cases, making it difficult to misunderstand what he’s trying to get across. I’m subscribing.
2 YEARS LIKE OMG this shows his dedication for this
I like to prove my work to you guys!
I'm not only impressed with the repair (and of course your instructional video) but I'm also impressed you kept the footage for 2 years in order to make this for us! I have had to do some minor repairs like this myself and never knew to do the bevels... great tips!
Thanks Dave! Glad you were able to pick up a new tip! Nothing better than learning something new!
Me hoping I never have to fix a hole in my boat, but watching anyway because I know I’m going to learn some good stuff!
I'm glad you're still watching! And hopefully no one ever has to!
I don’t have a boat, never have fished but this came up in my searches and I just found it interesting, thank you
I'm glad you found the video interesting!
Please bring back more ChrisFish content, as a fellow boat owner these videos are super helpful and informative!
Your dedication is unreal. Thank you for everything you do!
I try to give you guys the best info and proof I can!
Great video Chris! Always packed full of actually useful information without ever being boring
Thanks a lot Conner! That is always the goal and I am glad to hear that!
I had no clue this channel existed, I've be watching Fix for years
Now you know (it's pretty new)! Hopefully you learned something new!
@@chrisfished I did I enjoyed the bevel animation very helpful !
Mate, you need more of this stuff. As someone in another video suggested, a basic how-to of boat DIY would be amazing.
Gonna be another great video, have a great weekend Chris, and looking forward to even more content,
Thanks a lot!
Great and educational video Chris !!! Keep up the good work ! ❤️💪
Thanks!
Chris's sound is nothing less than a therapy to me. 😊
Thanks matey.

Those close up shots, that explanation about bevel, you really put so much efforts into your videos! Absolute delight to watch your videos just like always ! :)
Thanks a lot man!
Man your channel developed my interest in Fishing 🎣 ♥️
That's what I like to hear!
I just love the way that he explains things and shows how to do stuff, even tho its not cars I still love to watch it
Awesome!
I’ve been watching Chris sounding dull like hey there Chris fix here to ahoy there Chris fish here ! Dudes a true legend in teaching people how to take care of their whip whether be on the road or in the waters !
Thanks for the ongoing support!
You never cease to amaze me man.
Thanks!
I love that “Ahoy there!” Keep it up man! How’s the driftstang?
Thanks a lot! And stay tuned for this season ;)
The fact that this man just said yea imma let this sit for 2 years and make sure its right! 😌 quality.. astonishing quality to craft

Gosh, a 2 year video. CF is really taking it to the next level.
Have to show it actually works!
I love this dude even if it’s fishing or cars
Thanks for the support on both!
Very good video. I had no idea you had a plan for Chris Fish 2 years ago!
Yeah. Covid really messed up a lot of stuff for me
i thought you only fix cars man you’re all rounder good luck buddy
this just goes to show how good your brand is, kudos chris, I think you should run for POTUS
Thanks!
That time skip at the end was surprising. Great work!
Thanks!
Great repair job Chris! Boat = Break Out Another Thousand. LOL But the maintenance/repairs won't cost you too much because you do them yourself. Years ago I did plenty of work on a Chris Craft 292 Catalina.
Thanks a lot man and exactly. Having a mechanic do this would easily be $1000 for this simple repair. It’s tough bc the boat isn’t in my driveway so I need to be smart with what I bring.
@@chrisfished Definitely not easy when you don't have easy access to all your tools. Nothing worse than driving 20-30 minutes away and discovering you forgot or need another tool you have at home. Been there done that. LOL Keep up the great videos!
Exactly! Turns a simple project into a hassle haha. Thanks man!
@@chrisfished BTW, love the boat.
I’ll do a “review”/ overview of the boat this summer. It’s pretty awesome for it’s size
I’m so glad this is you. I was about to roast somebody for copying your other channel.
Thanks for the content
Haha thanks!
Even though I don’t have a boat, I love to watch these videos. Not only are they educational but they are very entertaining!!
Thanks and glad to hear that!
Very good video Chris! I'll just say it's reccomended to not use the fist few squeeze of the self mixing epoxy as if one component came out faster at fist you won't have the right ratio of epoxy
Good call! Luckily this is a 1:1 ratio so it should mix perfectly even from the start but it’s not worth the risk. For now on I’ll def be using your tip!
That 2 year jump hit me like a truck
I absolutely love your main channel! I'm so happy this one popped up on my recommended page!
Thanks a lot man!
Cars. Boats. Only thing missing is household appliances and repairs. Anybody else remember that washing machine repair video?
Keep up the great work!!!
He’s a Maytag man
I literally filmed a house repair video yesterday. Not sure if I should post it on ChrisFix or ChrisFish.
I cannot believe this! I found out this 2nd channel of yours a week ago and I have a hole that I need to fix in my Boat and was looking for good videos.. *NO WAY dude*
Thank you so much for this! Be safe.
I read your mind :p
Thanks a lot!
this video just shows how long he's been working on this channel for
Lot of work behind the scenes to get it up and running properly, still have much more to come!
@@chrisfished I wonder what the original launch video was supposed to be
@@chrisfished You can actually use regular fiber glass to repair the wholes
What blows my mind is that a guy with 8 mill subs and pretty busy life still finds time to reply to many of his comments, even on his main channel. I have been watching Your vids for like 6-7 years now and i remember you replied to me a few times on one of your videos with more than a million views and thats just mind blowing comparing to majority of other youtubers who never in their life reply absolutely anything. Well done Chris, we all appreciate your effort.
I spend about 4hrs every day going through comments trying to answer questions people have because I think that is important to helping people learn!
@@chrisfished Impressive. Thats what i call dedication and you are right, it does help a lot to get answer to certain questions that you cant just easily find online.
I don't own a boat, heck I don't even own a fishing rod, but I'll definitely be subscribing to this channel.
Welcome aboard!
I couldn't believe you planned this for two years. You are an absolute legend!
P.S.: when you make the video of the instalation of the new transducer, please explain what it is :)
I’m not sure when but it’s currently being edited.
I feel like this channel is just an excuse to get Chris to say "water" more times.
Haha
I go fishing, and these videos are really helpful whenever I get my boat in the future. Thanks chris!
That’s awesome! Glad to hear the videos will be helpful!
WHY AM I JUST FINDING THIS CHANNEL?

Thanks for the video idea!
"Fill this whole "
That's what she said.
It's funny that you shot this 2 years ago because I thought you sounded a bit subdued. Ngl that was the perfect amount of enthusiasm and energy though

how to jack up my boat? i have a jack and stands but how?
disclaimer: this is a joke
lol it's actually kinda difficult to do at home. They do it with a travel lift.
You teach me so good that I was able my dad's car. Thanks Chris 😀
Absolutely love that you got this hull. One of my bucket list boats they were hardcore tuna boats for decades in my homeport near Boston. My neighbor bought an original "Moonie" boat and its amazing. Love these hulls. Enjoy the ride and keep that diesel happy. I would highly recommend putting in a drive shower to keep that duo prop housing nice and cool.
Thanks a lot and same man! This boat is a battle wagon and it has a shower on the drive now luckily!

The way you work that drill bit in and out of that hole 🥸
That's where my Milwaukee and drill bit case went! Same set I use at work! Nice video! I work on vehicles and my brother works on boats, so both your channels help!

I pretend I’m watching the video to learn myself. If someone showed it lasted two years and 4000 miles on the water I’d trust it more haha

You've spent so much time and energy and put so much effort into this video and at the end it didn't get almost any views. This is so sad. I wish this doesn't discourage you and you keep making good videos like this one.

Love it Chris. Well done
Thanks!
Chris is da man. Another quality video.
u are a youtube legend man, keep it up
i have no car no boat not even a drill and i am watching ur videos it is just what Netflix really miss
Thank you!
Excellent content. Perfect speed and level of detail, so much harder to make something like this than it looks!
I already kind of knew how to do this, but this added a couple of really useful tips. Ironically it has given me the confidence to drill a hole in my bilge while on the hard stand to allow incidental fresh water to drain out during the monsoons. I'm away from the boat for 6 months, so even a new small leak during that time could fill it up and ruin it!
Thanks a lot and I can see why that would help during monsoons!
2 years later like what man I love this guy 😂😂
I think I love this channel more than chrisfix........everytime I learn something absolutely new........ specially watching videos like this which took 2 years in the making.....Chrisfish is addictive!!!
I'm glad you find these videos addicting!
Yaaay newww video, love your work and you chrisss
Thanks a lot!

Hey Chris! Just stumbled upon your fishing side channel! Great work in every video that I have ever seen you do, especially on things with vehicles. That said, I would love for you to dive more into maintaining outboard motors as well as cleaning and replacing carburetors, and all the other full maintenance that should be done every season on these motors (both 4 stroke and 2 stroke)! Thanks for all your videos and tight lines!
That is a great idea!
That was really great Chris! Thanks for that :) I just watched Parley install a similar depth transducer on their boat. Love the boat content! Franny
