How to Install a Fish Finder Thru Hull Transducer (FULL In-Depth DIY)
Learn how to install a through hull transducer in your boat for your fish finder. This video covers EVERYTHING from start to finish on how to install a new thru hull transducer properly and save thousands of dollars by doing it yourself. Thats not a thru-hull transducers. Thats an IN Hull transducer.

Hi Chris, just a suggestion for you and your followers: you need to put a small plate of zinc on each flap, in the upper side of it, otherwise you should change again soon the shaft you just repaired. The reason is that the flap is severly interested by the galvanic current, due to the sea water flowing under it. The galvanic current produced by the interaction with the water flow will destroy soon the noblest metal among those that make up the structure of the flap, and I suppose will be again the shaft of the hinge. Make a small hole in the center of the flap, then put the zinc plate in the upper side of the flap that will be secured by a simple pin and a self-locking bolt, and that's it! Change the zinc plates every season and the problem will be fixed for ever.. ;) Enjoy!

This biggest largemouth I’ve ever caught was 8 1/2 ponds (3.86kg) and it was through the ice on a light action rod with 2lb test line it barely fit through a 6 inch hole 😂

Glad the video was helpful! To get the old one out without damaging it, use piano wire or fishing wire. That saws right through the 5200.
