- Today I revisit a #guitar you haven't seen on this channel in quite some time. It was a gift from a very dear friend & it's time it starred in its own video again

Some nifty bass playing too John👍
So nice to see the P90 earning its keep and as ever you make it sing. Things improving at this end glad to say and at least I made 80 !!!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed that video John. Thank you.
The Roswell P90s in my HB TE90 have that great bite, too. Stick it in the middle position and get noise canceling, too.
Sounds rather splendid. I must grab me a P90 equipped guitar one of these days, I've never played one. There's a. couple of Sire models caught my GAS.
I still think the P-51 was the one. But thanks for the engine. I mean, motor. Garage is too french. ( j/k, you are one helluva guitar teacher)
I have a Richwood Thinline Tele that is equipped with P90's and it's a great Blues guitar. A real cheapie, I think I paid about £150 for it about 15 years ago. Probably my most surprising cheap guitar purchase.
Good video John, best tone you've had since you top wrapped your Les Paul, even if you didn't like working that hard to get it!
Every player ought to have at least one P90 guitar. Way more versatile than their "simplicity" might suggest. (Volume knob is your friend.) Lots of folks worry about the hum, but these days with modern gear/wiring the hum is much less a deal breaker.
Lovely tones John, but then of course they really come from the player! Excellent work😀
So how much are they now for the p90s
Great sounding guitar - not surprised it's a keeper 😎👌
Sounding good John. Never had a guitar with P 90's, like to make the jump but something would have to go.
Yes, to be "guitar neutral" 😅
Yet to obtain a P90 guitar but it’s only a matter of time! They have a blues tone that’s different from other single coils and humbuckers which really appeals 👍
Can I afford this guitar
I need a guitar badly
This is where the epiphone les paul special shines, put a faber bridge on it tuning sorted, its fitted with c.t.s pots they cheap out on the orange drop, install a nice cap the volume and tone sweeps from zero to 10
Vcool
Sounds great!! Play it more for your video!!
Sounds great. I love a P90 . .
How do they compare to other P90s? Also what the noise is concerned?I have no experience with them.
I find these the equal of any P90 I've ever played. As for noise, they're a single coil, so always somewhat susceptible to hum at higher gains. However, I have a noise gate on all the time so it's not really a problem for me 👍
looks and sounds great.
Great sound
