- Today I check out a new #wireless system from #Lekato... how does it compare to using a #cable?

I've had a cheap set (Ammoon) for a couple of years now. Great on stage as it's one less thing to trip over and, if there's enough room on stage I can wander around and join the bass player for a bit, then wander across and join the brass guys.
I use the Joyo JW03 version. 18 months in, O haven't tripped over them yet!😊
Hi John, I use the same Lekato system at home, I’m quite happy using it..
Had those for a year now. No problem's at all!
Never had a problem with cables 😅
My man cave is mine. 3.5 m x 2.2864 m. 2 chairs, 1 PC, 2 + 1 guitars, 9 cables, 148 books, etc.
There was a little HISS in the wireless, but slightly less HISS with the cable.... not enough to overcome the inconvenience of the cables. I wonder if they will (or probably already have) come up with a wireless set up with an amp modeler. For example I have the NUX Mighty Plug. Would be cool if it was also a wireless system to plug in the the Audio interface. Probably already exists and my ignorance is on display.
A lot of hiss. If it could not be heard in the room perhaps there is interference on the recording interface. The actual guitar sound though was fine. My ears are 63 years old so unlikely to be a case of young ears picking up higher frequencies.
The best solution is not to run over the cables with the chair. ❤
There is a lot of hiss in the wireless 👍
It’s special “Tone-Hiss” 😂
The Lekato seems to have quite a lot of background hiss. That was most disturbing in the bluesy middle example.
I agree there's a lot of hiss, you should try to record only the silence
@@mromag4773 I noticed that as well.
“Tone-Hiss” 😂
If you'd had problems with Lekato before, I'm surprised you stuck with the brand. I have a similar Getaria 2.4Hz and it's been fine for the last couple of years.
As others have mentioned there's a definite hiss using the wireless system John
These wireless systems don't work on my guitar. The neck on the jack won't go into the front of my guitar. The shoulder stops it. I had to buy a short extension lead to make it work.
The cable sounded better.
According to my daughter, nobody told me it's not the late 70s/early 80s anymore. So I still use a very heavy strat with an on-board preamp/booster.
I wonder what the wireless will do with the extra input it's getting. Will it compress or something? Will the booster still push the amp?
