    Didn’t work on my Gen2. Router. Is there any way to tell by the indicator light if it’s resetting? I did the power cycle option several times, the network comes up as unsecured starlink but the app doesn’t prompt to configure the router

    did not work. I have a gen 3 and it refuses to reset, it also won't send out a signal. do you have any tips on that?

      I'm having the same issue. I think it failed on me. Working with support to get it replaced now. Did yours resolve?

      @@specter2416 Hey buddy, they're sending me a replacement gen 3 router. Looks like some of these are faulty.

    @Starlink Hardware Gen 2 router. Why would everything be working properly but on the app under Network it says router unreachable?

      I'm having the same problem. I connect & disconnect from Starlink internet just watching my Starlink app. I tried yo reboot both the router & Starlink but always get msg that they are both unreachable. This has been going on for over 2 weeks now. I cant make any WiFi calls on my cell phone because you or the other party are inaudible. Sounds like a robot in a barrel! Any help known how to fix this problem ?

    Does this work for the mesh node too? Tried adding a second node too far away from router and it did not take. I moved it back in range, and it will not pair, just spins and I have found no way to delete or stop this process.

    Very confusing how it defaults to halfway through the video. For anyone else wondering why there is a reset button and ethernet cable ports on the bottom of his router, you need to back up in the video.

      No, the router has no effect on your Starlink account or subscription.

    So many creators miss 90% of the world
    I had a problem tg
    that after more than a year I had a kind of going TILT often
    and then working 3 minutes at 50% speed
    So I thought to be hacked and did what you said
    but the problem is the same
    I checked cable but find no damage
    Can Starlink support detect the problem?
    I always had some obstructions and did n t change the position
    but no trying speed test is says no obstructions
    next FAILED

    on some newer gen 2 routers the ssid is stinky yes stinky dont know why!

      lol that wouldn't surprise me with Starlink or Musk. They have a sense of humor. I haven't seen it myself but I've heard this same report from others.

    Had my gen 3 router go completely dead after one month of using it a few days a week. Support was quick to respond and are sending a new router and power supply.

      my Gen 3 doesnt even connect. Everything’s plugged in good. But still STARLINK wifi wont pop up. Its day 2 and it still wont turn on. HELP!!

      When you open up the Starlink app you will see a message to finish configuring your router. Tap on that to set a new name and password.

      There is a profile icon in the upper right corner. Tap that and there will be a sign in link if you aren’t already signed in.

    Can’t reset to factory for the life of me my gen 2. My hand hurts of the amount of power cycling. Ok a label and to make company to the other IT junk in storage. What a power hungry (22W without dish and doing nothing) but at the same time a very very limited router. For all the respect I have for spacex… why such inefficiency? Why? Power wise… Like a 80s device 😂.

    Hey, I have a Starlink Mini Kit and it won't send out a signal. It won't even start the blue light on the back. Any idea?
