Does having a router help with the Starlink router? I bought a Flint 2 router and it’s not much better.No obstructions everything is fine. I’m getting like 120mbps. Would then gen 3 router just help reach across my home and not with the speeds?

Bad advice. If you buy a "Home" and change location too many times they will cancel your service. Just get a rome and dont worry about getting stuck without service.

What I need is a Starlink client or DNS based launchpad for Windows/Linux/ Mac !

My latency is between 65 to 70 ms that's because as you said Starlink services are not officially supported in my country. Still, I don't understand why it should be different because both of us finally are connected to the Starlink satellites!

I would love to activate my hard mounted dish in my rv. But.... when i go out for a week or two, i cannot justify the$150 price tag. Come on guts, give us a true turn off turn on plan. I had something similar on Dish Network and only got charged for the days my dish was active. Give us something similar and I'll activate tomorrow.

The argument that you would charge more for the mini in the USA because it places a higher demand on the service is garbage. In that case, they should charge more for the service, not the hardware. This is just an excuse to price gouge early buyers in the USA. Welcome to Musk pricing.

WE JUST BROKE OUR KICKSTAND FOLLOWING YOUR VIDEO! 😢😡 Please inform others that under the kickstand are two tabs that lock it it. You have to lift the kickstand up from the bottom AND THEN you can slide it down. 😭😭😭 That information would have helped us a ton and now we have a brand new starlink that already is broken. Ughhhhhhh!!!!

I had something similar happen yesterday Starlink went down for no apparent reason after 13 months of no issues, but Im on Gen 2 system with TP-Link Deco system behind Starlink router, has there been some firmware update recently that has caused this issue ?

I just ordered a Starlink Gen 3 system. It is my understanding that you go into "bypass" mode from their app, and then their modem is now just a PoE for power to the sat dish. I have a Deco (TP-Link) mesh system set up with another ISP (will cancel when I get the Starlink up and running) with 2, X-90's (1 acting as main router, the second as a satellite) and 2, X-68's acting as satellites. I have over 50 smart devices set up with this mesh system. I'd like to be able to use the same network SSID and password that I have set up currently so that I don't have to go to each smart device's app and reconnect to the Starlink ISP. How do I go about doing that? I get the physical connections and the bypass mode in Starlink app, but what do I need to do on the TP-Link app to integrate the new Starlink connection, so to speak? Thank you.

My price point is 25 cents per GB with 500GB basic monthly plan, at regular speed. The dish I expect inbuilt battery with 12V solar charging options.

The image on the video thumbnail is of the mini antenna connected to a regular house and not a camper or RV. This is misleading, and I presume it comes directly from starlink marketing. It's misleading because this service is NOT meant for a primary permanent residence, but it is meant for travel.

FCC is a partisan organization with 2 dems and 1 republican. The reason for the "conspiracy" is the republican commish said so himself. Saying the DOD uses starsheild has no bearing on the civilian admin not wanting to subsidize Elon via starlink. The FCC fundamentally reports to Biden, the DOD has more leeway in their contracting. Also looks like the RDOF is a big boondoggle in itself, how many projects are actualley delivering service to rural customers?

Will you be able to make monthly installments on the Starlink mini dish? I know you are able to do that with the standard dish.

I read an article that stated if you use the workaround and order it from a location where you get the discounted dish when you change your address to a non-regional area they will bill you for the difference. Is that true?

It really gets me that Mini isn't available in Mexico. In fact, the model currently being sold here is Gen 2. I would love to get Mini, but importing it from South America doesn't make any economic sense.

Does the Mini hardware with the $50 plan have lower priority data like the $150 roam plan?

My gen 3 V4 dish is over 300Mbs consistently. I'm in Las Vegas so not a lot of other users.

The plans are absolutely garbage

I ordered today too, my Gen1 is on the roof powered on and on standby, so I can activate it at a moments notice if needed, which I had to do this month as my fiber went out for six hours. The mini will be paused when not used or needed.

I'm still trying to figure out the best option for the RV camper family. We will need to do the occasional zoom, maybe stream tv if possible, or just have a stable internet connection. I'm seeing $299 for standard kit for residential but roan option is 599 with 90/150 monthly plan. I do plan to pause it, but really don't understand my best option

I would gladly pay $599 and $30/mo for it and agree to a 50GB cap per month. Why? I would stick it onto my RV that gets used once maybe twice a month. Due to my job I have to stay connected. They are really missing the mark by not targeting people that do outdoor related activities such as camping, RVing & off-roading.
