I have a roaming service in Zambia Africa which is an approved starlink country , I use it fir my extensive travels in Zambia itself , however I feel it is totally unfair that all upgrades to the mini starlink is blocked even for existing roaming clients such as myself that have purchased roaming package and use it in the country where it was purchase , surely Starlink are aware of the packages purchased in approved countries and use elsewhere, why can they then not cut or block those subscription? Why do the "honest joe" have to suffer because of crooked people

I want to ditch premium activity with Starlink in the Tesla. The problem I'm noticing though is i lose remote Sentry access if I lose premium data. Beacuse the Starlink (via 12V plug in the trunk) will be disabled when I'm not in the car. Automatically connecting to the wifi/starlink is fine, theres a setting in the wifi settings for that. But once the car is locked, unless I have a decent battery dedicated for the starlink, i'm sure i would lose remote sentry... i'd have to have a usb battery pack for the starlink mini that lasted at least 12 hours or more probably. might have to keep Premium Connectivity :/

Sorry, but if the point of this setup is for emergency use, you’re not going to be passively consuming videos. You’ll be communicating, which means far more transmitting of packets. I’d love to see a test where you’re in a zoom conference, or FaceTiming people instead to see what kind of wattage bidirectional traffic consumes.

I'm currently using roam on my mini right now in a power outage. Working quite well. I wish it was 100gb though for the $50, then $1/gb after that. 50gb is pretty low.

I'm using mine right now in a power outage to continue working from home and streaming this video. It works perfectly fine for this purpose. No need to stow it away and hope you never need it. Also great for camping. You can get a similar hard case from Harbor Freight for $60. Currently getting 100mbps with 23ms latency supporting two laptops and my entire home network.

Hey man, I can not find this information anywhare and Starlink support is not avalible in Poland. I wanna buy stralink for bussiness but they have this priority data and standard data. Do you know what's going to happend with my internet speed when I use all of my priority data?

I live in the PNW just outside Vancouver WA. I was on the wait list for over a year to get my service. This area has a lot of population that lives outside city limits with no high speed Internet option outside of starlink. The fastest speeds I see are around 100-120 down. That's lightyears better than my previous seservice, but during peak hours it will slow to about 15-30. Just too much congestion. Still, I love my Starlink!

I did a video a couple of years ago for dishy two isn’t a 300 and it’s built in AC inverter. It may be more power efficient to run it on DC, but maybe by 10%

In Australia we now have two waitlisted areas, one around Perth, Western Australia and one in Queensland. This is the first time this has happened here, and you’ve just explained why there are quite large areas. I think we’ve had small areas go out in the high population areas on our East Coast, but this is the first time for Perth.
