I was messaging the SL team through the app and asked them if they had the data for dish temp and if so that would be nice to display as well. They said that data is available and that they'd send to app team for consideration.
So I now have the update and most times the power draw is 60 watts. Very early this AM our area had a storm with a deluge of rain. The power draw jumped to 90 watts. I'll be very interested to see what the wattage is during winter.
I heard from someone that Starlink support said Gen 1 was not supported with this new feature. I'm wondering now if it wasn't a 3rd party router issue that people were having, but rather just people with Gen 1 systems who happened to be in bypass mode.
My Starlink router is working in bypass mode because I have a Eero mesh network. The app is still showing power draw so they must have fixed the bug if there was one.
I can't access my device due to the passcode issue, and even when I try 'Forgot Password,' no code is being received. I've sent an email from another account to make sure my main email is working. What should I do to resolve this?"
50 gigs per month which is a bit over 1.5 gigs per day I would like to see reflect a daily use 0 to 2 gigs with a curve that reflects a 1.5 gig per day use. Some sounds when the mint is ready to use.
😂😂😂 I'd still advise you to review it at least so everybody knows. I think the big thing Starlink needs to do is sell a very low performance kit for very cheap, that would increase sales by a LOT, 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload and even lower than that is enough for most people
@@Mikopiko9 The Mini is pretty darn cheap to be honest. The 50g plan is actually better than a lot of phone data plans. I honesty think that if they had a $49 Starlink dish with an unlimited $25/month plan that there would still be people complaining about the cost and trying to tell Elon how he could sell more systems. Ugh.
A great feature for those of us who are off grid and need to monitor battery consumption.
I think a lot of us off grid campers have power monitors already, but it's nice to be able to see it.
You should definitely be employed by starlink
Very very helpful and super smart
My Mini just picked up the update too. The most wattage was just under 30, right after the update, but has averaged out to 20. Just an FYI.
That's also a reason why I love Starlink, they are constantly updating and improving the service

yes thank you so much
Have my setup in bypass mode and seeing the powerdraw without problems. Guessing it just showing a flat line for people is a bug.

@@StarlinkHardware hmm maybe, I have a gen 2 dish
I don’t have it on my Actuated dish yet. I’m going to pull out my Mini and see about it. Thx!
I've got Gen 2 dish and have the Starlink router in bypass mode to run a TP Link router. The power consumption function seems to be working for me.

It should be a bug. Am using third party router and am seeing the power graph on the APP.

This is Kool and all, but we need an app for windows an mac.
iPhone screen mirroring on your Mac, coming next month
Just got it
Test the enterprise dish please!
It's actually the same antenna as the Standard, just for a lot more money!

I just updated my software for both the dish and the app this morning but I don't see a power draw section. Any idea why this might be the case?
Is your dish on version 8d987cda-85b2-42b7-a79d-ffa0c3a14236?
Same here. I’ve got the latest gen 3 and no power data yet. May take some time.
