Ralphy turning into a fabricator, while Wawa is becoming a decent mechanic. Then you have squeezy as your painter and Marge rolling film. Nice little team you have there mate, with them all working to their strengths
When it comes to wireing that old rust bucket, (you r driving me nuts) clean all the rusty connections. Clean the battery connectors, replace ALL the light bulbs, then double check all the connections.
It was unfortunate that the seal got nicked. But you worked thru it and got it fixed! The good thing that got overshadowed was your new axles and seals worked perfect!

Marge says You don't need no blinkers, she will just use the Marge Hand. That just killed me! She and the kids have such a great sense of humor. Ralphie playing the PIg Belly Drums was quite funny as well. Love this channel!
I’m sure others have pointed it out, but that “dust” was smoke from a bulb that’s gone to air (eg. air has made its way into the bulb, which should normally operate in a vacuum). The filament will glow for a very short time, albeit a little more dimly than usual, but the presence of air means the filament will burn itself up within seconds. Hence the smoke, and why it tested good initially. This is super common with old sealed beams on cars that have been parked for a long time, and is pretty neat to watch. Look for the plume of smoke rising from the filament the first time power is applied to an old bulb, and that bulb is guaranteed to burn out in moments.

You have great patince when something goes wrong with a vehicle you're working on. Today i helped my husband change the belt on our 2015 nissan versa. You have to take the right casing off, then the inner fender well to get to it. That was the easy part. Happy Saturday Sleeperdude and Family, enjoy the videos, see you like the Ford Fairmont and Mercury Zephyr, I found one in South Bend Indiana a 1979 Mercury Zephyr Blue in Color for $2,999 Dog Dish Hubcaps only has 44,000 miles on it
I really dig this thing. That LS engine with the MSD intake manifold, that rear end being posi, the headers, and run off of the Holley ECU, it's just a really good build. I REALLY would love to see some videos of your Starlet build because that's something that I'll never forget. I would also REALLY like to see you build an old Turbocoupe, as in actually build the 2.3 Lima engine and give it a better trans and turbo. I had a 1990 Supercoupe in white (like yours), with the red leather interior and a 5 speed and I LOVED that car. My buddy completely totaled it and I got the insurance money and sold the remains of the car to another buddy because the insurance company didn't want it for some reason. I have driven a few Turbocoupes and was never impressed in stock form, but I know that the 2.3 can be built to make good reliable power. Heck, I build a 1997 Honda Civic coupe with a fully built 1.8L DOHC VTEC engine that made 709 wheel horsepower at 34 psi.
Awesome dog house fabrication! One thing, with the Lower dog house, it would be cool to have hinges on the far side of that so the top folds out of the way and so does bottom for easy engine access.
Ralphie was using Derek's approach when he was putting on that differential sealer....."That's too much....perfect!" 😂 That was the worst transmission leak I've seen in a while, but thank the Lord, ya'll got it fixed! 😊 And assuming the coolant leak stopped too with the new hose clamp. Awesome!! Thank you so much for sharing and for what you do you guys! God bless and stay safe....and healthy! I hope Ralphie is feeling better. 😎

What a lot of hard work! But at least you have lots of good help--that is your greatest asset! Its going to be reliable eventually but there are so many bugs to work out! This is a charismatic hot rod! I still suggest raising the rear bumper by a few inches, but that's just me. Carry on to Power Tour!
funny about throwing the light bulbs in the shop, we used to blow up coolant jugs with air pressure. knock a 5/16 inch hole on the thick part of the jug bottom and screw in an air hose coupler adaptor, vice grip off the hose to stop the air pressure and plug in the coupler, place the jug close to where someone's working and then let the vice grip go, watch your friend crap his pants when it goes off.
This is a side of Josh I don't think I've seen before. Like I knew he was a good body guy but the way he just throws the tape around, hand sketches some alien hieroglyphics, goes crazy with a death wheel and bam, everything just fits is pretty mindblowing. And big up Ralfie too, he's getting pretty damn good at welding.
This project is coming along nicely... I almost feel like in the long run might be a better option to just run all new wires and connectors for all of your lights... Noticed some of the rear lights being on when Marge was following the test drive but the opposite side wither not on or dimly lit... So for ease of use, and troubleshooting might be a better choice run new wires and connectors with the old original housings...

Pretty neat video. That's a lot of work you put into that truck. Life threw you a little curve and you handled it. Nice job. I love watching your family working together on these projects.
So awesome to see it finally rolling down the road has been one of my favorite projects from the very beginning and it has came along nicely im sure the right hand drive really takes some getting used to
When you use RTV as the gasket for the rear diff it's best to tighten the bolts only about hand tight let the RTV set up for a little bit and then go back and tighten everything down allowing the RTV to set up creating some thickness to it instead of just tightening it down all the way while it's wet because they say it squeezes it all out and you're just left with sealant on the inside and outside of the joint where you wanted it to have sealant in the middle
I'm sure others have probably suggested and you may be in the know Sir, for old vehicles needing turn and hazard lights.....Grote. Been around forever, always works.
Good luck with the next few test drives Josh. When you get the next chance make that exhaust system serviceable with wrenches and not a sawsall. Definitely going to want a couple of heat cycles under your belt before Power Tour. I'm sending you some positive energy. Thanks for taking me along on your adventure.
Josh and family wishing you a wonderful time at power tour. I hate you had to go through the mess with the trans front pump seal that and a hose clamp. Again have a wonderful time with power tour. Eddie P. Silverstreet South Carolina.
Dear @@Sleeperdude In my opinion you should/could put something like the engines that Robot Cantina uses into the Model T. A two or 3 cylinder Diesel with a CVT clutch/transmission. Way easier to drive than with the weird original pedal setup. Or convert the Ford to electric. The original engines are quite lame anyway. Best regards, luck and especially health to all of you.
That's unfortunate the transmission leak. I hope the seal stays in I worked on them for 50 years when building that trans we would wire wheel the paint off the seal part that went in the aluminum pump put red loctite on the edge to help secure it in the pump. Ask your trans man they look like they don't. Anyway hope everything goes smoothly love you guys keep up the amazing videos.

Next project you pick up, Ralphie should be project manager, I have that much confidence in him
I'm sure others have probably suggested and you may be in the know Sir, for old vehicles needing turn and hazard lights.....Grote. Been around forever, always works.
Really like the front seats!
Yes we do too
Good luck with the next few test drives Josh. When you get the next chance make that exhaust system serviceable with wrenches and not a sawsall. Definitely going to want a couple of heat cycles under your belt before Power Tour. I'm sending you some positive energy. Thanks for taking me along on your adventure.
Good idea thank w
Can’t wait for my two youngings to get big enough to help me work on things🤟🏼💪🏼
Yes!!
I can't wait to even meet our kid who is on the way! She's feisty in the womb. She'll give life the beans!
Thanks Josh.
Just end up getting a aftermarket set of headlights for a jeep wrangler, should be the same size, some cool under glow would look sooo good too
Let's GO!!!!
Hope you enjoy
Josh and family wishing you a wonderful time at power tour.
I hate you had to go through the mess with the trans front pump seal that and a hose clamp. Again have a wonderful time with power tour.

hay Josh did you know that robot cantina channel watches your channel?
No didn’t know it
A lot of people watches his channel…except me, of course
Dear @@Sleeperdude
In my opinion you should/could put something like the engines that Robot Cantina uses into the Model T.
Yeah for sure
Most drivers wouldn't understand hand signals and the ones that do would be confused with them coming out the righthand side.
Yep
I love watching all of your videos. I deliver mail in Florida and it's great to see what you've done with this truck. It gets easier to drive the more you drive it

Your children are so patient with you.
