- This is just a quick glimpse at how I work through my locations and setups when determining how I want to film the, "Walking down the aisle," moment.
Ahhh! So grateful for this! I've always wanted to get drone shots during ceremony and never knew how others managed it! Thank you!
Absolutely! I hope it gives you some ideas and confidence for when it's a viable option to get a creative shot(s).
This was SO helpful! I've always wanted to incorporate a drone shot in my Ceremony films... but I am always too nervous / overwhelmed with leaving my equipment. I needed to see this!
Would LOVE to see a video on you packing for a wedding day. I feel like I am not organized enough and have way too many bags. I need a better system! Thanks so much!
Honestly, I have enough cameras that I could probably set a few up and film my entire kit for a wedding day haha.
@@filmandflourish I'd love to see your entire kit and how you pack it all!
Do you do this with waypoints and solo shooting?
Until recently, I manually flew every second of capturing moments like this. Now that I have the Mavic 3 Pro, I’ll still control the drone but will draw a target around my moving subject and then just fly left to right.
@@filmandflourishthat's pretty cool. I just have the OG mavic pro. I'm thinking about playing with waypoint and letting it just fly far away with some movement as a safety cam during ceremony.
So are you setting up a home position point away from the service so the drone can dock once it gets close to running low on battery?
Most DJI drones do this automatically when you take off. It will return to your home position when the battery gets low
