Yeah, Thailand is very hot, I have long hair because I work in a freezer. I had to cut my hair (was on vacation) because it was so hot in Thailand. Much love from California.
If I use google translate for "I got fat' then I have "chan uuan"="I fat" then my question is what is the meaning of "khuen"? That is my big problem with the method of Thai teaching, I cannot memorize word that I don't know the meaning.
I'm trying to learn Thai, but the whole tone thing it getting me discouraged. If someone is tired or crying or even singing, how can they inflect the proper tone to say the correct word? I saw a video on this channel where the spelling was different, but the only difference in pronunciation was the tone. One tone meant beautiful and the other tone meant unfortunate. You don't want to mess those two up. And on another channel I saw that mai is used at the end of a sentence as a particle for a question. But mai in a different tone is the word no. It makes my brain hurt.
