    I recommend you all to study the alphabet for at least a week. Just to remember the sound each letter makes. I don't even remember all the vowels but it helps tremendously in clarity to understand the pronunciation.

    When you speak thai you speak to quickly for me to learn, or say slowly and than normally... You only say the phrase one time it isn't enough. thank you

    8:37 Use of the word 'mueng' in almost any context according to my fiance (who is Thai) is considered extremely rude actually

      Also, beginners should know that any time the teachers here give an example where the sentence is using 'my' or 'I', they will say "chan'. This is the feminine personal pronoun, males should instead use 'pom'.

      yes that's true. it's very rude. and usually in thai series they use informal language. so people who wants to learn thai through watching thai series have no idea that it is informal. that's why they should ask for a professional or a native thai speaker. thai series would also help but it's necessary to learn the formal first before the informal ones
